Not accounting for age, but just the roles. It's very slight though.
Splitter in the Oberto role
Leonard in Bowen's spot
Green in Finley's spot = Both shooting guards, both wear #4
The 2005 NBA Finals were second-to-none. 2005 was my favorite playoff run in general, tbh.
The 2007 Playoffs were kind of meh. The Finals sucked. I mean, sure, I want the Spurs to win, but a sweep in the NBA Finals of Lebron and scrubs wasn't exactly exciting, tbh.

Where can you get the championship DVDs?
Bad move IMO. You should keep it for the end of the playoff when there is 4 months without spurs basketball
I wonder how many other Spurs fans screamed at the top of their lungs in frustration and broke the nearest object(s) when Tim missed the tip-in at the end of regulation.
Up until the Mavericks Championship all the DVD's had a similar structure to them. They had the same interphase, music and a certain way of approaching the series. Having recentely watched the Miami DVD I can say that it was complete garbage. It was as if they threw it together at the minute. They changed up the entire style of past DVDs, which isn't bad as far as the interphase and how it looked. It was everthing else that was crap. The music choice was horrible, they didn't go into depth on any of the series, the narrator sucked and it was basically a Lebron circle jerk barely even mentioning the other players on the team outside of the occasional three from a role player.
Most importantly, it was not entertaining. There were no spine shivering moments due to how it was paced and narrated, whereas the pace of the Spurs dvds were great for the most part and you could feel the tension. You could say that it is because I'm not a fan of the Heat, however I was able to enjoy the Mavs DVD just fine, and I hate the Mavs.
Ahh got ya. In that case yeah I see what ya mean...
Try Amazon. I saw them on there recently...
I was in 5th grade during the 99 championship run. One of the greatest moments of my childhood tbh. That defense was just amazing to watch. I have the 99 championship VHS, I've never found it on DVD. I've always tried to find someone who can convert VHS to DVD...![]()
I live in Boston so I doubt they will be there, but I will try Amazon, what do they show on the DVDs? Do they show full games?
05 had superstar manu and clutch as every horry. but 03 had the best tim duncan we've seen, and that alone merits consideration. he literally couldn't be stopped. still, i have to give 05 some more credit due to the compe ion we faced in the finals. still, beating the 3x defending chump lakers was pretty huge. i can't decide, but i'd take either of those teams over 07.
This is what I'm saying when you put those 2 teams in a 7 game series tbh. MVP Duncan will dominate anyone and I think it can compensate for a young manu and tp instead of prime manu and improved TP in 05.
