    Jamal Crawford ‏@JCrossover23h
Where there is so much change in the nba, the Spurs did it right. Kept their core guys 2gether for years. That's how the 80's nba use to be

    Pau Gasol ‏@paugasol20h
The Spurs have played a very complete game. I'm sure that the next one will be a different story than today. #WCF

You won't be saying that if the Spurs try to snag him in the off-season if he were to get amnestied.

For a monkeyballer, Crawford is actually pretty articulate in his interviews.

Growing up I hated watching the spurs, when I actually learned how to play its really entertaining seeing how well they play together.

Always cool to see the love from around the league, it just adds to the solidification that people who hate the Spurs are either idiots, rivals, or both.

I guess Damian Lillard is learning to keep his mouth shut. Rookie needs to learn his place in the league.

My guess is because of his awesome block on Carmelo in game 6. He went straight up on that one, just as Bonner did.

HIbbert and Duncan are boys and work out every summer. Bonner probably worked out with them. Of course you will not hear this on ESPN:

“I worked out with Tim Duncan this summer,” Hibbert, who had 19 points and 18 rebounds in the contest, said. ”I model my game after him. Actually, he texts me after every game. I’m appreciative, and he’s somebody that looks out for me.”

While the soundbite was revelatory in its wording and gracious in its timing, it’s not the first occasion on which Hibbert has spoken about his relationship with Duncan.

Earlier this spring, when SLAM spoke with Roy Hibbert, the fourth-year pro volunteered more about him and Tim:

“This summer I watched a lot of film and worked out with Tim Duncan for like two or three weeks at a time during the lockout,” Hibbert told SLAM. “I learned a lot from him. I talk with him on like a weekly basis, ask for scouting reports.”

When asked how he got in touch with the seemingly unapproachable Duncan, Hibbert laughed and responded, “I mean, seriously, he’s great.

it would be awesome if they met in the Finals too bad it won't happen

so classy. you won't hear this on ESPN

“I’m going to continue to work with him. We talk probably once every two weeks, a lot of vets in this league I know are straight assholes.” Hibbert interestingly said, “They don’t want to talk to a young guy, Tim took the time out of his day to invite me to San Antonio to workout with him, and have dinner with him and his family, and a couple of the other guys, so he treated me like I was one of his own teammates during the summer.”

Smart of Hibbert to work on his post game when it's still relatively early in his career. Didn't Dwight Howard decide that it would be good to work on his post game after being in the league 8/9 years?

that's awesome about Hibbert. I knew he worked out with Duncan but never knew Bonner was involved. I get the impression that Bonner adn duncan are pretty close, and Bonner is a worker, so it would make sense they all trained during the offseason.

I like Hibbert a lot. anyone that likes Timmy and the show Delocated is cool with me.
    yeah sign that spaniard up
i'm a fan of Pau, not sure what he has left in the tank but I know Pop would use him so much better than D'Antoni.
