This time of year is brutal and so are the rumors. Is it probable that Arsenal would sign both Jovetic and Higuain?

No not one or the other, I'm saying both of them. Apparently Jovetic's agent is in London speaking with the club.

Apparently Arsenal met the buy-out price for Jovetic according to that Italian CNN sports journalist.

Gremio confirm that Andre Santos is to return to Arsenal

Andre Santos: Will return to Arsenal when his loan deal at Gremio expires

    Sky Bet

Gremio have confirmed that on-loan defender Andre Santos will return to parent club Arsenal as they cannot afford a permanent deal.
The 30-year-old signed joined the Gunners from Fenerbahce in August 2011 for a fee in the region of 7million euros (£5.9million).
However, he struggled to establish himself in the first team at the Emirates, making just 13 starts in 18 months at the club.
The Sao Paulo-born full-back secured a return to his homeland when he signed a short-term deal with Gremio back in February.
That deal is set to expire in July and the Brazilian club have confirmed they do not intend to turn the move permanent.
"We signed Andre Santos for Copa Libertadores and his contract expires in July," Gremio's director of football Marcos Chitolina told UOL.
"It would be too expensive for Gremio to renew his contract; he is a very expensive player.
"We thank him for everything he has done, but we will keep Alex Telles and Fabio Aurelio."

Arsenal's Bacary Sagna and Laurent Koscielny hint at moving on to win trophies

4 Jun 2013 22:30Full-back admits it hurts to keep watching other clubs lift silverware year after year, while centre-half talks of looking elsewhere

Looking ahead: Koscielny wants to add to his collection of medals... somewhere
    Michael Regan

Bacary Sagna and Laurent Koscielny are both making noises about leaving Arsenal for clubs that can win silverware.
Right-back Sagna, a summer target for Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain, moved to Arsenal for £6million in 2007.
The Gunners haven't tasted success in any compe ion since the 2005 FA Cup Final.
Now, with one year left on his contract, 30-year-old France international Sagna admitted there could be a change this summer: "To see others win and lift trophies, honestly, that hurts.
"It's six years I've been at Arsenal now and I will remain focused on my club, but I don't know [about my future].
"There's going to be speculation, that is certain. I'm no longer young therefore I'm thinking about it, because I would really like to win something.
"Whether that is with Arsenal or another club, I would like to win a le."
Sagna missed Euro 2012 after breaking his leg in the last game of the season and is determined to feature in next summer's World Cup in Brazil.
Asked about a move home to France, he said: "It's possible. I have a contract until June 2014. There have been discussions but I have not yet renewed my contract.
"I'm talking about it. I'm not at a bad club. I will have to see what conditions, in a sporting sense, they propose. I would not leave to go to whatever club.
Heading off? Sagna has been linked with clubs back home in France
    Mike Hewitt
"If I stay at Arsenal, I will try to have a good season. If I have to leave, it will be a new challenge.
"There is a World Cup at the end."
Sagna's fellow defender Koscielny, meanwhile, "feels good" at the Emirates, but admits he may have to move on if the club cannot end their trophy drought.
The 27-year-old, a 2010 signing from French side Lorient, told Eurosport: "Psychologically, it is hard. We are always under pressure - a season without the Champions League for Arsenal is catastrophic.
"I have the desire to add to my list of honours. I hope the club will give me the means.
"If this weren't the case, I'd look elsewhere."

not a bad thing, imo, to have players putting the club on blast. Puts more pressure to spend money on good players

Sagna is gone anyway, so wgaf what he has to say.

Koscielny leaving would be tough but not catastrophic, especially if someone like Bayern wanted to overpay for him. Verm isn't going anywhere and should see a return to form next season, tbh

That being said, I doubt he leaves

+ Squillaci + Arshavin. Wonder when they'll get rid of dip s Gervinho, Diaby and Sagna. I'm not even talking about their racial profile. They just suck in a mul ude of ways.

Fellaini TBH. Arsenal desperately needs a strong midfielder while their forwards are not in horrible shape (should be still upgraded).

Fellaini... He's such a powerful presence in midfield. I'm cautiously optimistic that Giroud can develop into a good Striker, although he'll never be on par with RVP

Fellatio tbh. Besides the things already mentioned, Fellaini would give Arsenal an air attack that they haven't had since forever. Arsenal now would be scoring from set pieces instead of getting scored from set pieces... and he would probably help in that department as well.
