Simmons isn't even a great writer. He's alright, occassionally funny, but basically all his articles consist of 1)mention 80s movie that serves as template for article 2)mention influence of dad 3)suck Boston 4)insert another 80s movies 5)reference whatever the current Vegas picks are and finish with annoying homer pick.

I like Simmons, tbh..I'm not a fan of his TV persona at all, but I like his articles..
To be fair, I'm not sure if I like Simmons because he's a good writer, or because he's much better than the compe ion, tbh
He's one of the few mainstream writers that isn't closed-minded and has incorporated advanced stats and actual facts into his articles, rather than old-school, outdated POVs, tbh..
