They're pretty much equal in terms of block shots, tbh. Both average 0.8 per game on their respective careers and as you said Lebron has the advantage on rebounding ANDDD MJ couldn't defend all 5 positions like Lebron does. So yeah, I think I will give Lebron the edge on defense.-Blocking shots is part of D and LeBron simply isn't better at that than lockdown mode MJ. Nuff said. LeBron's only real advantage is rebounding.

He may not be able to guard a Shaq or a Duncan on their primes but he can stay with any average Center on the league, that's a great luxury to have 'cause you can exploit matchups on the other end without getting burn at your own end.
