You have to give him props though. Other players *cough* Kobe *cough* would have settled for the jumper, remember Durant against the Grizzlies this postseason.
Clipper Nation living vicariously through Lebron

That's a fair point. The only clutch part of it was realising that the Pacers gave him an open lane to the basket and him taking it. The actual shot itself was as simple as they come.
Don't agree with the layup , but that home clock operator was MVP.
That .7 second shot with Ray Allen was ridiculous. He had enough time to catch the ball, take a step, turn around completely and shoot. In .7.![]()
heres the real question though...do you s think lebron would have made those clutch freethrows that paul george made the posession before?
It doesnt ing matter the way he scored. He scored game winning basket at the buzzer. That was great basketball play.
Pacers ed up even to giving him an opportunity for anything else than contested jumper.
And who the is guarding Norris Cole, when LeBron is there all alone, because Wade was fouled out. smh
I have five folding chairs in my garage that are screaming mad that they weren't allowed to suit up for the Pacers on that final play. Just two folding chairs could have forced LeBron to shoot a jumper.
Looks like a double travel. shuffled his steps before the dribble, and a possible 3-steps layup in slow motion.
This. That jackass traveled, then they started the clock, then he made a Pre-Kesque layup. Then his normal fluffers (HH, Clipper Nation, Acehole) propped him up like he did something special.![]()
Bron better at gamewinners than the snitch![]()
Flop City with no shame in her game, wipe the out your mouth , it's just an uncontested layup.
Memphis is looking pretty good, bro
Randolph and Gasol be dominating the bag.
LeBron driving to the rim for a gamewinner while The Achilles is chucking from 30 feet and brickin.![]()
First, the TOSB is having a mediocre series, it's the spurs role players that are playing out of their minds.
Second, i've seen this movie before, as far as i'm concerned this series still is a backdoor sweep if you can't get a W in Memphis and the spurs are starting to choke.
Pacers still have a shot. They need to feed West even more. Dude is a beast. Heat has no answer for him.
clip nation getting shat on in this thread
A make is a make. Kobe can shoot an off balanced heavily contested and it'll look difficult and all but he'll brick that shot more than 60% of the time. Lebron scanned the defense for a weakness and took the high percentage shot that he'll make 90% of the time. It's all about intelligence and Lebron has always valued efficiency over pretty looking off balanced long jump shots.
It was left handed if that makes anyone feel better![]()
And Gasol and Randolph are having awful series.
Not to mention, Duncan is having a great series defensively. The Griz were 4-24 from inside 5 feet in game 2 with Duncan on the floor vs 9-15 with him on the bench. Fat ass Randolph was only able to score when Duncan wasn't in the game.
That said, Griz are a resilient bunch, so this thing is by no means over, but it'll be a tall order for them to win 4 out of 5 against a team as disciplined and experienced as the Spurs, especially considering their lack of offensive firepower.
That play was amazing. Lebron is so freakin clutch even when he is coasting like he did most of the night. As Harlem said, only the father killer could that.
Lol at the haters in this thread. If durant had a game winning 2 point jumper with no one around him, everyone would be ing in their pants and say how clutch he is
bull . wrong board, tbh. if durant made this same exact play, the majority of this board would be saying that it was just a pedestrian play that even his fat mom could have made with a piece of fried chicken in her hand and then find a way to call him beta. lol at all the bron nut suckers on here though, ing sickening.
he didn't scan he had a free path to the basket
so did ewing, but he still missed the layup
doesnt matter how easy it seems, it still is a high pressure situation and requires some sort of extra focus to ensure you make it.
