If he was the typical celebrity attention , I'd say make whatever circus of it you want to. But here's a guy who's been content not to seek a lot of attention, and has given up a chunk of cash for the privilege. I wish the media would leave him the alone. But I know there's no chance of that.

Divorce rates are incredibly high in the US. It happens to just about anybody. I've had relatives that seemed like the perfect family only to find out they divorced a few years later.
so sad...
I've had 3 friends split this year... 2 last year who are or going through really nasty divorces still.
My wife and I have been through a lot this past year, but feel lucky we made it through it all so far.
