Yeah..I just picked up Texas chainsaw 3d...I was going to wait until after the game to watch...now, I'll probably start it at halftime(if I can even make it that long)..

By my count, the Spurs are 15-10 with Joey in the regular season since the start of 2007-08 and 3-5 in the playoffs.

3-5 in the playoffs? . Oh well, it'll be 5 on 6 tonight, then. Manu's not going to get any calls whenever he hits the floor and TD better expect Bogut to get away with alot more . We have to shoot lights out tonight.

We will miss jack for this, he takes no bs not even from refs.
At the end of the day, if you're going to win a le (or even reach the Finals), you're almost necessarily going to have to find a way to win a game that Joey Crawford calls.
And between 2001 and 2010, the Spurs were 3-6 when playing on the night of a full moon. Can you say coincidence? I know people want to make excuses for why the Spurs haven't won since 2007 but singling out a ref is a real stretch. For what it's worth, the Spurs actually have a winning record with Crawford since 2001and should the Spurs fail to close out the series, it'll be on them and them alone.
Undoubtedly. I started on a follow up that basically said that the Spurs winning percentages in Joey's games are within a game or two of their overall percentages, even after 2007. And Joey's presence didn't stop the Spurs from closing out the Clippers at Staples last year.
There's a fairly reasonable frustration with Joey Crawford, but trying to elevate that to causation is a hard step to make reasonably.
I have a lot bigger problem with the ref who called the carrying violation on Kawhi, called the screen out of bounds violation on Kawhi, and called the blocking foul on Gary Neal from the other side of the floor when the ref nearest the play swallowed his whistle.
I don't think Joey Crawford is a bad ref but his effect on Duncan is a big question...and it might change his game.
Road game + Joey Crawford..well, good luck to us people
The good news: JOey Crawford acts as a lone wolf. Answers to noone including NBA and Stern
The bad news: He hates Duncan's guts![]()
wow cliff jumpers already in before the game what a bunch of pussies on this forum
IMO the guy should not even be in the league anymore for the he pulled with Duncan.
I almost hate you idiotic posters on this forum, but I actually have a future.
Why the league allows him to officate spurs game??
Game 3 2013 WCF:
Joey Crawford
Ron Garretson
Derrick Stafford
I don't mind getting him on the road tbh.
Yeah, I just saw that, too. I figured we'd get Joey sooner or later. It's actually a good thing for us. Joey won't let the Grizz get away with any bull .
Joey hasn't been that bad in this year's playoffs tbh. When he's the crew chief, the foul % b/w home and road teams is even, and the home team has a 55.6% winning percentage. He's also middle of the pack in terms of total fouls called per game.

Stafford and Garretson as part of the crew (not as the crew chief) aren't that bad either
I'd much rather have Joey on the road than at home 100 days out of 100.
