Now that you mention it, you're probably right. It's possible there was blood on the towel and he was looking for the source. If you watch it thinking he's looking for the spot that stinks it's funnier though.

He was looking for a cut, due to blood on his towel. He found it at the end of the game on his forearm. Just took the HOF awhile. Kept looking on his shoulders and upper arms at first.
