Win or lose, I'll still be proud of everything this team has accomplished this season. A 5th le just makes them so much sweeter.
This has been a particularly satisfying playoff run.
Round 1 - Revenge for 2008 (FTL)
Round 2 - Revenge for 1991
Round 3 - Revenge for 2011
Even if the Spurs do no better in the finals than they've already done, this will be a year to remember. The spurs have finally acquitted themselves well in the playoffs, exceeding expectations for the first time since '07.
The Heat will be new territory. The Spurs may not be able to surmount this greatest, final challenge. And the revenge factor won't be present there, either. But after the previous 2 series, I am convinced they'll at least put up a fight to stop the Lebron dynasty in its tracks (or the Pacers, should that unlikely matchup come to pass).
