Tony was eloquent on the post-game podium. Lots of progress there, too.
Oh and the spurs vs lakers playoff series stat continues. Whoever won would go on to the finals and this year we beat them and look where we are now

He's back to his MVP form at the best moment of the season... Believe.
Does anyone know how James does fighting around screens? That's what he'd have to do to stop Parker, and I don't see him being any better at it than Thompson, Conley or Allen are; in fact, I think he'd be worse.
As in ALL TIME??? Like, the list includes MJ, Magic, Bird and all the other legends???
just maybe spurs fans might appreciate him after his second finals mvp over james
of a game ofhim and eveyrone says he can not close
yeah I rewatched that but could not tell
So much for the Tomy Parker chokes in the playoffs thing...
Can we get some deep level analysis finally please
That's a shorcut from Crookshanks, he's the third player (along with Kobe) and right behind Karem and MJ to reach 37+ points in a closing game of a conference final... That's it.![]()
Damn, could you imagine how much better he would have been tonight if we had Scola?
I know most of what can be said about TP has been said, but....
The redemption tour continues. He has had one of the best seasons I've ever seen from a point guard. Yes, Duncan's resurgence played a significant role, but this was TP's team, he was the engine and he got them to the finals as the leader. Along the way (when he was healthy) he was MVP caliber and beat down so many demons that may (or sometimes may not in reality) have plagued him before.
It sort of feels like he's turned a corner with fans and media alike and that he has elevated himself to the proper amount of respect he should have been getting for years.
TP is fantastic.
Road closeout conference finals game. There are like 30+ players who have scored more in a road playoff game.
Wonder what Jack is thinking now..
So many s on this site thought we should of kept George Hill instead.I''v been a Parker backer since his skeered phases(2001-2005)
Indeed. Heatfan might be thinking they can just stick LeBron on him and that's all... I strongly disagree with that notion. It takes 5 guys playing in unison to stop a Tony Parker pick and roll.

Yep he just moved up to 17 tonight.
WOW 15-21 and they weren't easy shots 37 points which was also his season high. Hes going to go down as one of the best PG ever tbh the dude is 31!! his shot is better than ever his passing is better than ever, he really has turned the corner when he was a rookie I would never thought he could develop into a player like this even his defense was exceptional tonight. Im very interested to see how TP will fair against the Heat though their pick and roll defense is exceptional tbh and almost can guarantee you they will trap the pick and rolls, but well see
TONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL if we kept Hill and got rid of Tony we are not where we are last year and sure as not in the Finals this year! GOOD LORD WHEW!!!!!! WOW!
PLEASE. If he was really that talented he would have led a team past the 2nd round by now. And don't fall in the BSPN trap and make excuses for him via injuries or his supporting cast.
1) He was FINE, no matter what BSPN tells you.
2) He had the best supporting cast of his life these playoffs and couldn't get out of the first round.
3) He still isn't much of a shooter, take away his passing options and he will crumble.
Any sports commentator saying Tony isn't the best PG in the league is just drinking some massive haterade.
