I remember back in the 90s when I would have cut off my winner for the Spurs to win one championship.

    4 rings and a chance at a 5th?

Looks like a bad decision because you suck at being a vagina.

There was a poster on SpursTalk who actually said that the Spurs would not make it to the Finals if they couldn't beat the Heat, because the Spurs had to preserve their unbeaten record in the Finals.

I can't find that comment but it was just absurd.

What players have been in the Finals in 3 different decades?

    Jabbar?
John Salley won les in three decades. 89/90 with the Pistons, 96 with the Bulls, 2000 with the Lakers.

So Tim Duncan is almost as good as John Salley.

16 year old punk kid running around downtown acting a fool for the first one. Hopefully I'll be a 30 year old punk adult running around downtown acting a fool for the fifth one. What a great run.

Tim isn't a coattail rider like Salley. Tim has been with the same team the whole way.

What, are you trying to say Duncan might be better than John Salley?

    Exactly.

I can't believe it's 2013 and the TD, TP and Manu Spurs are in the Finals.

You tell me that even three years ago and I think you've been huffing paint.
    I agree man, it's crazy.

I remember seeing Tim Duncan at The Quarry his rookie year signing autographs and wondering if he was really going to be as good as they said he was. 16 years later, 4 les later, 3 Finals MVPs later I am happy to say that I love being a Spurs fan no matter if we win or lose.
