Its really a shame with his frame and tremendous passing skills if he would of just continually watched film of Magic Johnson's post game he would be one of the most unstoppable players of any era.

its also weird that people have stopped talking about his inability to make free throws. 76% for a player as good as Lebron? Imagine if he shot 86%.

    Scary thoughts indeed.

Of course he doesnt have the same skill set on the post as the greatest to ever do it ( Olajuwon) or other elite bigs, but the reason why he is so dominant because if you get a smaller guy, he can outpower you, a bigger guy and he can face you up.

Lebron james is a dominant post up player tbh. Not overrated

well that's the point. Why couldn't he do a repeat performance of game 3 if he is so dominant? He is way, way bigger and stronger than his defenders and is mostly single teamed, he should be able to eat them for breakfast every single game. Yet he's really can't pull it off every single game thus why he's a mediocre post player. Not the dominant force ESPN is bull ing about.

Couldn't you answer this yourself by just watching how the Pacers played him?

His post game is what won them the LOBT last year, I don't understand your point. Last year he was consistent and posted up when needed be. That's dominant. He's not going to milk the play for 48 minutes because the system needs to be run.

I admit that I was expecting LeBron to crush in the post in game 4. What surprised me was when the defender braced and held his ground, LeBron would always opt for the turn around fade. It also seems that most of his post play involves him moving towards his right shoulder.

I would imagine that he is going to work like crazy in the off season on his post game.

The team doesn't have good enough spacing when he posts up. They send 4 guys to the weakside and it makes it easy for Vogel to send a double team.

They should have one player on the strong side wing in the hopes they double him and get an open 3.

Watch how the Spurs space out the defence for rookie Duncan in this video

They have one player on the strong side to allow Duncan to throw it out and repost, or get the open 3 if the defender doubles. Now look at this shot from when Lebron posts up.

Clear difference, and it's down to coaching.

LeBron>Michael in almost every category and I'm the one with the bad takes? ing 3rd world countryman buying into ESPN tells him not being able to afford cable TV to see Mike in his prime

LeBron is the better 3pt shooter, defender, rebounder, blocker, passer

exposing my ty Mike is the GOAT take

thinking Messi's the GOAT in football

exactly. as soon as he puts the ball on the floor, there are double teams waiting for him from every angle. He is finding the open men, but they aren't hitting anything. That is the difference maker in this series.
