Beat me to it, I was meaning to make a thread about this. How did "TBH" become so prevalent here? Half the time it's used incorrectly, and truthfully shouldn't you be honest ALL THE TIME ?
I don't mind the TBH - it's funny - but I have noticed the massively increased racism and casual bigotry on the site. Sometimes I wonder where the mods are.

If you were honest all the time, then it wouldn't mean nearly as much when you said "TBH", now would it?
That's some gross . I watched last night's game wanting to kick Udonis Haslem in the face until he has no teeth to guard anymore, tbh.
Precisely the point, if you're not honest all the time, that means you're either a fibber or a libertine which would lead me to ignore or evade said TBH columnist.

I pointed out 1-2 years ago that any rational poster would be honest. Since then "tbh" usage has only mushroomed, though its usage seems particular to the vernacular of the geniuses on here.
(translation: some dumb ass started it and monkey see monkey doo it spread like wildfire on here)
tbh, I have never seen it used elsewhere, so perhaps Spurs Talk can take credit for creating it, though that is not all that impressive

I think it would be awesome if the forum added a filter that replaced TBH with IFYM, tbh..
extreme tbh usage has led it to become fubar, smh

Oh, ffs. Overthinking this a little, aren't you OP? TBH, no, not tired of it. It's less an attestation of veracity, and more of a emphatic point in vernacular, tbh.
Plenty of bigger things to be bugged over (the seemingly rampant casual phobia and constant acceptable degradation of women, as well as the seemingly frequently racism displayed are much more irritating, tbh. But the trade off is being able to be as foul mouthed as I like to be on the internets, so meh).
