deny what? you are a re . even if you were joking there is no way that wade is better than kobe. kobe is a better shooter and a better defender, not to mention he has won more.
Actually, I started this thread with the statement that Wade was better than Kobe and you responded exactly the way you had up to that point. Don't be a little pussy now and deny what you are doing.

I just don't understand why some of you are comparing Wade and Kobe.If you're a real Miami Heat you would say Dwade is better than Kobe.
no you would be a real homer.
Assists aren't at all what I'm talking about. Assists are misleading in showing how selfish or unselfish a player is in a lot of cases. Marbury averages quite a few assists and is at the top of the league most seasons, but you would have to be a complete moron to believe that he is an unselfish player, same with Francis. Some players assists are a result of dominating the ball so much. There are players in the league that average 4-5 assists per game just like Kobe, but they are much more unselfish because they are able to do it in the flow of the offense, and they don't need the ball in their hands for over 50% of the game to get those numbers.
From watching Kobe and Wade, it is completely obvious to me that one is unselfish and the other is selfish, from watching them is ultimately how you have to judge it since stats can be very misleading. Seriously, I think that you would need a crowbar to get the ball out of Kobe's hands a lot of the time. He dominates the ball in such a manner that makes him his team's biggest enemy at times. He is more capable of taking his teammates out of a game than the defense. Wade has shown that he is able to defer to his teammates at the right time in order to get them involved in the game and make them more effective, hence he makes his team better and is a much better team player. He is way more conducive to ball movement for his team, and to me it makes him the smarter player.
I think that Kobe has fewer weaknesses in his game, but his lack of teamwork is such a huge weakness and such an important part of the game that it puts him below Wade, IMO. Kobe is definitely is a better outside shooter, less turnover prone, and is a better defender at this point (but Wade is also a great defender, IMO). I don't believe that Kobe makes his teammates better like Wade, but maybe he will someday. I've seen him do it at times, which is the most maddening thing about it, because it is so obvious that he is so very capable of doing so. But he has only shown that he is willing to do so in spurts.
You are probably better than Kobe right now seeing as how he can barely walk.
