I don't get how any "basketball fan" would purposely not watch an NBA Finals. Who cares if it's two teams you dislike/hate?
Most Lakers "fans" nowadays and LG are really:
First Kobe fans, second Phil Jackson fans, third Lakers fans, and then Shaq fans.
phil jackson fans.. want kind of trolling is that?
goat coach, we want phil, we want phil!

if they think Duncan won't already go down as greater than Kobe even with just 4, because he will. Duncan doesn't even need 5 to surpass Kobe imo. He may need 5 for Shaq though because he won 3 straight as the best player on his team.
Love that movie....real sad ending though :'(
I would think it's the opposite of what that quoted post has. In the debates that I see most between fans that aren't here it's a question of Duncan vs. Shaq, and Kobe vs. Lebron. Big vs. big, perimeter guy vs. perimeter guy. A Spurs win pretty much ices Duncan over Shaq. His fans can still trumpet the 3 peat but Tim having 5 rings, all with one team and still competing at his age while Shaq's final seasons were kinda embarrassing? Lebron repeating would probably put just as definitive a stamp on the Kobe/Lebron debate amongst many people as well.
they are more insecure than the clowns upstairs
You cant post upstairs.![]()
What re ed logic ...
what double re ed logic...only in the mind of a Spurs fan...![]()
Wait, so OP joined LG post Gasol, joined here post Dwight but yet he's here calling people bandwagoners?![]()
LOL Harlem or Clipper Nation?
If LG was so bad, why do you guys keep making threads about the dip s who post there.
Tim was the first option in SA and Kobe was the 2nd option in LA...A first option in SA is like a 3rd option in LA....no comparison...the fans have already spoken on this....and Kobe was voted over Duncan as player of decade...that 99 le is an asterisk whether you like it or not...Duncan is never compared to MJ...Duncan is never compared to Wilt or Kareem or the other greats...no one takes the guy seriously...he won his les in SA and never repeated on a single one of them...he's good but he's like a Cadillac whereas Kobe is a Bugatti Veyron
Raw Career Numbers through 2009 (it's only gotten worse for Duncan comparison wise) :-)
Bryant: 28.2 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 5.2 apg
Duncan: 21.2 ppg, 11.7 rpg, 3.3 apg
If anything it is Kobe? already done. Shaq? no (or maybe)
It's not so bad
Someone with access to the ban button please revoke this guy's posting privileges immediately.
Neither, just find the hypocrisy funny.
Tim Duncan at age 36 - 17.8 ppg, 9.9 rpg, 50% shooting in 30 mpg
Shaq at age 36 - 17.8 ppg, 8.4 rpg, 61% shooting in 30 mpg
Looks like Shaq was competing just fine at the same age as Timmy this year.
Timmy didn't quit on multiple teams though
What does that have to do with competing at an old age?
Spurfan logic, it can't be explained
