"It is tough. But it is what it is," James said. "I put myself in a position to try to do everything for this team, a little bit of everything, and put myself in a position to win. It's very challenging mentally, physically. But you have to figure out a way to just have will at this point of the season. There's not too many days left. There's no room for excuses."

James averaged just under 38 minutes a game during the regular season, close to a career low. He was given a number of games off in March and April to rest up. It isn't that the Heat didn't think long-term, it's just that what is required of him is so demanding that six weeks of playoff games and a taxing conference finals have taken their toll.

"I can see it on a few of our guys' faces," James said. "Felt a little fatigued, still a little banged up from that seven-game series."

wow the excuses have started pouring in from all sides. By the sound of it, it seems going through the Bucks, Bulls and Pacers is the toughest playoff road a defending champ has ever gone through.

    the GOAT is tired

    Wade's knee is hurting

    Bosh is struggling

LOL making it seem like the Pacers were the bad boy Pistons and Ewing's knicks put together, and Hibbert was the incarnation of Wilt Chamberlain

Honestly, it's time for Spo to drop Lebrons regular season minutes. They are so dominant in such a weak Eastern conference they should be able to get by with Lebron at 34mpg in the regular season.

At 28 Duncans minutes dropped to around 34 and never really went back up. When you're expected to play a full season and another 20+ playoff games, you need the rest.

I'm sure if he could just play one game where the D wasn't keying in on him he wouldn't get so tired.

100% accurate. That plays to much cause he wants MVPs though.

I don't think Spo manages his minutes well. Why the did he need to play 41 minutes in a blowout win in game 7?

That 23 point win at home with the next series starting there really illuminates their fatigue issues.

Lebron gets a lot of hate for his comments which I guess is understandable, but think of it like this. For the past 3 seasons, he has played almost every game of the regular season playing about 38 minutes, then about
43+ minutes in the playoffs where he gets to the finals each year. Add the Olympics from last summer and its easy to see why this guys tired. However, it's not just the minutes. Not even Jordan had to do as much for his team as this guy does, Lebron is literally his teams best scorer, passer, rebounder, and defensive player. That's unheard of and he's had to shoulder the load an unfair amount this year, especially in the playoffs

It's their fault that they let a 49 win team push them to 7 games, though a lot of that had to do with all the bull Hibbert got away with.

LeQueen is such a . I mean seriously, in every interview since game 1 ended, she is always mentioning fatigue and the Pacers series.

Making excuses is NOT going to get it done against these Spurs.

it's one thing to guard pg isos man to man, it's another to have to sprint through triple screens, Lebron just has no chance of doing that without being gassed in the 3rd.

...if only we paid him a lot of money for all the work he puts in.

Oh wait, we do. Miami pays him an assload.

Look, I have no special dislike or hate for Lebron (not in the way I do for say Kobe). I actually like the guy within reason. But when players whine about being tired it kind of ticks me off a bit. Play through it. Thats what you do. And you makes absurd amounts of money to do it.
