notice how the guy in debt to jewelers is wearing the flashiest![]()
it would've been a tougher series no ? ..but I just don't think the lakers showed me enough to prove that they would've gotten out of the 1st round..i don't see kobe and howard being a good 1-2 punch with that coach
yall's azz team was dropping games left and right when u thought we'd get the 8th seed...Kobe getting injured was a doozy
OP I said this already down stairs, get your own .
Sounds like somebody is mad that Dwight and Pau couldn't put up a better fights.
former 2 time NBA Champ and "The Best Big Man" in the league couldn't even win a game vs an aging Spurs Big 3 lol
He's not even a Lakers fan. Beware of random fan troll accounts designed to get responses. Just look at his posting history and you will see he's desperate to salvage the years of effort he's spent creating the troll, and since I've outed him he's basically gone into meltdown mode, looking for suicide by mod or some way to gain some notice.
lol TY, obviously still very new around here![]()
wow I didn't even know Jameer was injured that year. Wow just wow. What an easy path. Lakers should have never accepted the trophy that year
I made a thread about this weeks ago.
The Spurs and the Heat had the easiest runs in their respective conferences in the history of the NBA.
2009* Yao Ming, Tmac, Ginobili, Garnett, 50% Nelson. All stars and HOFers that the Lakers never had to face.
At least if the Spurs beat the Heat, the championship will be legitimate. They went through the defending champions. Lakers didn't go through that year.
And don't forget about Perkins' injury in game 7 of 2010.
Lakers got swept by the clippers and the spurs in one season so naturally their fans are salty
Yeah, that run was historically easy.
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Jameer Nelson can shoot again. His injured right shoulder can take contact, and he's been cleared by doctors to practice.
Though that doesn't add up to Orlando's All-Star point guard being healthy enough to play in the NBA Finals, it does create a dilemma for the Magic's front office.
Orlando was 2-0 against the Lakers this season. Nelson was Orlando's leading scorer in both those games, averaging 27.5 points.
But Nelson would likely just be a s of his All-Star form. He hasn't played in four months, and even he admits it will be difficult to convince the training staff and coaches that he isn't risking future damage.

Going through LA is typically easy. Just ask Memphis tbh.
, I wouldn't even put Nelson at 50 percent. The Finals was the first basketball he played in 4 months and his on court performance showed, averaging 3.8 points per game on 35% shooting.
The '09 Lakers championship run was the easiest of the modern era. It can't be disputed.
But that said, I ain't disparaging the Lakers for their luck.
A ring is a in' ring and you get them anyway you can.
Name one team (besides the Heat) who has played better basketball at any point in the season than the Spurs are playing right now . . .
The answer is no one. The Spurs absolutely deserve to be here. The Lakers with a healthy Bean couldn't have beat this team. A 100% healthy Curry wouldn't have turned the tide. Any argument to the contrary is absurd.
This is a poor attempt by an extremely butthurt Lakers fan.
booho.bro. . . . i mean really give it a rest already we made ur team didnt. why hate? just move on if u dont like the spurs pull for Lebron and the heat. Im sure noone here cares that your upset at the fact that we made. Yea we pretty much played candy land through the first 2 rounds but the memphis and miami win is all us, and in that respect son u have no case. With respect son![]()
The Spurs just went out and did what they were supposed to do.
The Spurs have beaten the Lakers with Kobe in the playoffs before. In 1999 and 2003. So to win against the Lakers in 2013 with a Kobe 10 years older than 2003 would have been no surprise. Kobe not being the playoffs this year was a nonfactor.
Since when does the winner give a about how the loser feels?
In the end, Spurs can only play the teams presented to them...
Perhaps you should give props to the Spurs for having the foresight of resting their guys to minimize injuries instead of complaining Kobe was run into the ground by Mr. Pringles.
LOL you guys were garbage with Kobe this year, you were not winning a series bro. Stop it.
