I'm sure the Heat forum is calling it a travel. Glad the refs let these teams play. In that 1Q I thought it would be tough given the BS blocking call on TD.

The ball slips out of his hands and he recovers with 2 hands, isn't it totally legal if you can recover if it slips?

Oh and lol at heat fans complaining at the travel when Cole did a breaking travel from the three point line

No travel. He didn't dribble at the end just was trying to recover the ball and didn't grasp it on the first try. Let the Heat fans cry all they want.

Yup. If you watch the phantom version closely, Wade gets a hand on the ball, which is why it wasn't a double dribble.

He actually does travel slightly right before the shot. After he fell and his knee hit the ground, he establishes his left foot as his pivot fit. When spinning before the pump fake, he slightly lifts up his left foot, therefore making it a travel. However he barely lifted it off of the ground and no ref will catch that in real time.

I love the end of this version of the clip, starting about the 23 second mark. Everyone else is turning to hit the glass - look at Parker. He's totally calm, with his hands down at his sides. He KNEW that one was going in. Like a golfer that starts walking toward the hole when the ball is only halfway there.
