Basically it's a drug, if you're not in it for the purity of the game itself.

Or you're Laker fan whose franchise is rich with all kinds of hook ups and free gifts that they can hot es (championships) all the time because of said connections. But when your franchise s a hot they're like,"meh, she wasnt THAT hot. And you only got her because I was in the restroom when she walked in!" So they love the NBA.
