Seriously though, its going to favor a guy who has played on several teams like Kidd, Battier, ect rather than someone like Manu who has been on a single and relatively stable team his whole career

Yeah, I don't know how will that work. I guess the guy that spent more time in the league (therefore having more ex-teammates on other clubs) will have the upper hand on this.
Why is Manu a best teammate? Not disagreeing, just don't know.
A point system was used — 10 points for a first-place vote, seven for second, five for third, three for fourth and one for fifth. Players were not allowed to vote for a player on their own team.
