tbh, I'm impressed the Spurs kept it as compe ive as long as they did. It was close halfway into the 3rd. Not bad in a do or die game for the Heat -- and make no mistake this was just that for them. Miami ratcheted up the D, and got really hot at the same time the Spurs got really cold.
Ginobili is playing his way off the roster
If im the Spurs I lowball him at the end of the season
Good thing the Spurs never suffered blowout losses in their previous Finals series...
oh wait.
I'm no CoM member, but I give Manu a pass since he's not a total liability, unlike Neal. When he's got the ball, it's usually a poor shot or a TO. Plus that terrible D.
Anyone Have Info About The Spurs arrival?
even we lost this game, I still think spurs in 5 or 6 cause we are so good at home.
How about 2005 final?
But this is the first blowout loss in this year's playoff for the Spurs.
Well they failed to arrived in the 4 quarter
In '05, we lost Games 3 and 4 in Detroit by a combined 48 points. Still won the ring. Onward to an all-important Game 3.
I was being sarcastic, referencing all the cliff jumpers. Guess I shoulda used blue font.
This place becomes unreadable after a loss.
ginobili's turnovers stat doesn't do justice the damage he did to this game, the times he wasn't turning it over he was making horrible passes, ruining the pace, bricking shots, and just in general looking completely lost. neal was -28 which is honestly the lowest lenovo stat i've ever seen a 2nd string player post. tony parker didn't seem willing to adapt as he usually does and i honestly don't even remember duncan being on the court he was that forgettable tonight.
Meh...it's one game, and let's be realistic...we all knew Miami would likely win Game 2...they had to.
Spurs in 5 regardless.
GO SPURS GO!!!!!
First Finals loss since Game 6 in 05. Crazy, huh?
He looked like he had more pep in his step this game...
Well, I can't say I didn't see that coming
You're half wrong because we didn't see Bonner all game until garbage time.

Manu is and always will be one of my favs, but if you're looking for Ground Zero of the Heat's G2 end-of-3Q/start-of-4Q blast, he's it.
I think it has more to do with the way we lost, and Miami "turning it on" and showing what they can do when they really want to. It's only one game, but it's more demoralizing than anything.
sad but true![]()
