I don't really like Manu blaming the fouls on his play. He sucked from minute 1. Face reality and face the facts, otherwise GTFO
I don't know. I think as long as Manu is some kind of Tony Allen, Battier(prime) type spurs should be ok. Problem is he was so attrocious in game 2, he was probably the 4th or 5th best Heat player out there. Manu just needs to at least be 50% the prime Ginobili for the Spurs to be successful. Otherwise, sit his ass down.

Hahaha. Now I feel better, thanks. I'm gonna think that from now on, "oh, there goes drunk Ginobili again."
Manu played like he had just come from Happy Hour and threw on a uniform. It really defied reality. The good news is, I don't think our Big Three can play any worse than this.
Stephen a smith was pretty hilarious and accurate about the Spurs afterward, saying they need to put out an APB on Manu's game. there were bad performances all around, but Manu's performance was indescribably ty. Not sure what happened between game 1 and 2, but there's no excuse for that. I agree that Pop should not pair up him and Neal.
he was good for about a minute. When he first came in and attacked the basket for a layup and when he hit a 3. the rest was F-.
oO I'm surprised to see such a consensus. I need to re-watch the game, I thought he was alright for the most part.
Why is everyone blaming on Manu? Everyone did bad except for green. They needed this lost so that they can adjust on what the heat can do. Trust in Pop. That was prolly why he pulled out the role players when there was still 7mins left. He knew they didn't deserve to win this game and try to encourage the spurs to bounce back this tue.
Thats a pretty accurate description.
Hopefully Pop learns. He learned from benching Splitter in game 4 of the Warriors series.
Manu has been a turnover machine for a while. He makes some ridiculous plays sometimes but overall he probably does more harm.
this was manu all night...

What will all you haters say when he has a game like last Thursday? You'd think the Spurs played this game by themselves. We are playing against the defending champs, aren't we? All of you will eat your words before this s over. Is the word I'm looking for "Two-faced?"
He can't shoot any more. His pump fake is a joke, and painful to watch. He won't play within himself. My gawd the man can't even dribble. Bottom line is Ginobili has been on a downward trajectory for awhile, and unlike Tim-meh, he can't lose a bunch of weight and get better.
The only thing good about Manu tonight was his interview where he mimicked Tim's stone face (when asked how Duncan would respond if they built a statue of him).
I remember against the Thunder when Manu short jumped a one man fast break slam. I thought, it was just conditioning and would improve. No such luck.
Ginobili is done barring some serious off season miracle.
the whole big 3 sucked badly and for no real reason. Ginobili was especially terrible, but tony had 5 TOs.. they need to get their together.
Sad thing is even when Manu does penetrate he ends up blowing the layup half the time. Ray Allen is nearly 40 and he looks like a more a reliable player than Ginobili these days.
It concerned me to read today that he was blaming the big 3 saying they played like . YOU played like . Sure, Tim and Tony where below average, but Manu was absolutely horrendous.
Some people were wondering if he was done or if he was saving for the finals. I guess the answer is pretty clear, two games into the Finals he is still sucking monkey balls.
ing Manu and Splitter/Duncan not taking advantage of the mismatches are the main reason why the game was lost. (and Neal not being able to guard my grandma)
Every stat. Every fact says you're wrong, but yeah never stop being an idiot ftw...
Don't try to put this all on Manu, yes he was bad but he was not the only one, it was a team loss. Manu has meant so much to the organization and some of you guys are ready to throw the baby out with the bath water. Had the other guys stepped up, his miscues wouldn't have been so magnified.
I don't understand why this forum doesn't ban blatant trolls. It could improve things a lot and just by bringing all this noise down, which is also AIDS having to read, to at least a reasonable level, maybe more non-trollish posters would find it worth their time to contribute and improve the community.
Saying Manu sucked (which is what the majority of the people are saying) is not trolling, it is just the honest truth.
If you are referring to the ones saying he should be benched for the rest of the series or traded or banned for life from Texas, then I agree.
Miscue? A miscue is like what he did on the corner inbounds pass to Tim. Manu went to the basket when Duncan was expecting him to stay in the corner. That's a miscue.
What we got instead was a stumbling, staggering drunkard impersonator who couldn't hold onto the ball. I have never seen Manu dribble that poorly....and to lose it what, four times? That was about a sixteen point swing of lunacy by him. Miscue? That's not even close.
This was epic failure. This makes the whole stumbling-in-the-outfield by Willie Mays mythology look darned tame by comparison.
You would get banned tbh, if you think Manu has been effective
I like Manu but good god that was bad yesterday. It was almost like a JV kid trying to play varsity, I hope he was just drunk with the way he was stumbling and turning the ball over.
