Colts vs Rams tbh
...start hitting the newstands I start getting into football. I start my homework, yep before Sept first I will have read up on every NFL/NCAA team, yep all those colleges. You'd be amazed at all the NFLers who have came from RinkyDinky State.
First big games week one NFL...
Atlanta at New Orleans.
Green Bay at Niners
Baltimore at Denver
I look for a home team sweep there anyone disagree?
In week two the Niners fly up to Seattle, the first Mega game of the season. Yep, nobody is beating the Seahawks at their place that early in the season, Niners 1-1.
We really do need to cool the personal bull it gets in the way, it's like a speedbump. slows the flow. Talking football is so much more fun that having to..."yeah well you suck too"...come on guys what are we 14?
I'll do my part in making 2013 the best NFL season here ever, I need you guys to not let me down. Let's talk football, ok?
My SB pick....Niners vs Broncos
Colts vs Rams tbh
Let's look at that from a serious perspective (despite the fact you weren't)
The Colts do stand a punchers chance of winning their division, it wouldn't shock anyone but Houston. Now we have a problem, the Rams stand no chance in the west.
Rams are gonna surprise some folks tbh...they finally got Bradford some help
Niners will be affected by the Super Bowl loser hangover, most definitely. They won't make it back to the Super Bowl and will probably lose in the wild card round.
The Seahawks will make the playoffs again but this time won't have the benefit of playing against a team who lets their injured QB play until his knee explodes and virtually get a first round bye. Russell Wilson will struggle to have as good a season as last year, more people will start to realize he isn't that talented and is just on a talented team therefore they make him look better (whereas Luck is 100% of the reason his team wins games).
These two factors leave the division wide open for the Rams to take over and shock the world. However the Colts will beat them in the Super Bowl, Andrew Luck just has too much talent and will put together another clutch game winning drive per usual.
I'm just here to talk football braj.
I might never stop laughing if the Niners end up third behind Seattle and St. Louis in the division, and there's a realistic (albeit slim) chance of it happening![]()
The Rams simply have too many weaknesses. Their O line average at best, they have a middle of the pack defense. Isaiah Peat is their best back a huge step down from Jackson. Sure our WV duo will add some spark but it won't be enought this season. They will not win more than 9 games, that won't win the west.
The Niners are as talented as any team in the league, they will be back in the Championship game.
Russell Wilson will show why coming out of college he lead the nation in completion % and as a rookie tied the TD record and almost made it to the Championship game, yep, the real deal.
Andrew Luck will have a great season and a division chasmpionship a very real possibility.
But....neither the Colts or the Rams have Superbowl caliber teams at this stage of the game. Too many unaddressed weaknesses.
How is it realistic, explain.
The Colts addressed absolutely every weakness they had in the draft and free agency. What weakness of theirs are left to address? If they sign Bradshaw I dare say they should be favored to win the AFC South. Houston won't have another completely injury free year like they did last year.
Luck will improve a lot in a west coast offense. Wilson has nowhere to go but down, he peaked in his rookie year tbh.
Be right back...
You really all that impressed with your draft? What big free agent?
Luck will have a great season, so will RW.
Cool. When all the football magazines come out, I generally go on living a normal life.
So you have no reasons why the Colts aren't Super Bowl material. Okay.
Bradshaw to the Colts.
AFC South Champs 12-4
Sure I do...
Luck is not among the elite QB's, actually was ranked 26th.
While AB is a solid back and a step up he is not among the elite.
Yep, Wayne is a stud, then what? Daneil is ok at TE.
You had a weak 32 sacks.
Had the 26th ranked defense. One of the worst rushing defenses in the league. Gave up over 24 points a game. More than you scored.
Very average offensive line.
Does that look like a SB team to you?
This is a SB team.
Ranked number three on the D, 4th ranked rushing offense, number 4 vs the run and the pass. Had a stud running back, a great TE. An outstanding offensive line, probably the best in the league. A great front seven on defense. Only gave up 17 while scoring over 24. Yep, Niners.
You cannot give up 24 while scoring 21 and start talking a SB,

You can't really point to last years stats when the team is slated to have 10 new starters. Sorry, but for all your years of football wisdom even you should know that. Colts will be a much better team.
So from losing their playoff game to a SB because they have 14 new starters? So no other teams also got stronger, right? My football wisdom tells me that we all talk up our teams, you're no different. The Colts will be a better team, so will some others. To start talking a SB over a team where they did gave up more than they scored, nope can't do it.
And of course all new starters are total studs.

Much as I hate to say it, I also doubt the Niners make the SB again... Gonna wait till camps get going before making any SB picks, though
There is no team in the league with more talent.
Maybe not total studs, but last season we played a weak schedule and mostly fielded the same team that finished 2-14 the previous season. Only major change last year was a new QB. 9 game swing. Dude's pretty good for the 26th ranked scrub QB that you think he is tbh. Stats ain't everything.
Don't disagree
Seahawks and Rams are very good teams in their own right, and chances are the Niners will have the typical Super Bowl loser letdown year, tbh.....
The Rams are a sub 500 team as of right now.
Seahawks are good, Niners were better.
Niners win the division.
Well lets see..
Give me the position the Rams are the best in the west at
QB
RB
WR
TE
OL
DL
LB
SEC
Special Teams
Go ahead break it down.
Then after you see how silly that is I'll do the Niners vs Seahawks for you.
Speaking off football magazines, it's looking like it's Denver vs either the Niners or the Seahawks. Have't see anyone else mentioned.
