Simmons has the same speech against the Spurs every damn time. " ______ has to be feeling pretty good. They didn't play well and they are only down ____"

I hope the Spurs go to Duncan early in the 2nd half, tbh..he needs to be the #1 option against the Heat, they even began doubling him at the end of the half, which can only help the Spurs..hopefully he continues to take good shots..

Parker needs to wake up, they aren't going to win without him stepping up..

Relying on Neal is a horrible strategy, tbh..he made a great contribution in the 1st half, can't expect more out of him in the 2nd..
Agreed. We need to start Timmy off the same way we did in the 1st.

Diaw needs to stop being horrible. Period. If he played like he did the last two series, the Spurs would be so much better off it's not even funny. What's his deal? I know he has motivation issues, but this is the Finals.

Leonard and Green with great individual defense. That will keep Spurs in it, but we need great TEAM defense to pull this off.

Spurs are gonna have to play much better in the 2nd half to counteract the refs. Now that we know David Stern is in the house, it's pretty obvious he doesn't want the Heat to lose this game. Since Spurs took game 1, and if they win this one, the odds and statistics say the Spurs are favored to win it all.

Diaw lol. Useless and riding the pine, pure waste of talent letting bonner surpass him in the rotation.

Even vs GS after his instrumental role in the comeback Pop went away from him in game 2. Pop is just irrational.

game 2 Heat 33-5 remember guys!

    2nd half---------> defense!

Watch the Heat defense in the 3rd quarter. They'll be bringing the belly-bump, arm-slapping hard. If the refs aren't calling any of it, they'll get turnovers and easy points, and the game will go to . If they make a few calls, the Heat will tone it down, and we'll go up 2-1.

Leonard on pace to play 28 minutes. Green on pace to play < 34 minutes. That is inexcusable.
Can't have him in foul trouble down the stretch

teammates not calling the baseline double isnt helping Duncan either tbh

Had to laugh when Stern said Lebron made a mistake with "The Decision", and then quickly amended it to say ESPN made the mistake.

Hope ESPN asks Pop this question at the end of the 3rd: 'Pop, are you trying to send Diaw a message, and is it worth risking a home game to try this tactic?'

2nd half is gonna be tough. The Spurs have to get Tony and Manu more into the game. Neal can't be the go-to guy.

All I'm hearing from the media is "Spurs fans should be worried that they're only up by 6 with LeBron having only 4 points). Well, first, Spurs are playing great defense on him. Second, Parker has 6 points. Third, Heat are shooting 57% from three. Heat fans should be worried that they're losing despite shooting that well from three.

Eh, it depends on what position Neal plays. If Neal just comes in when Allen or Miller is there, he'll be fine on defense. He contested the shots just fine; the other players just hit them. And Neal's actually a pretty good rebounder for his height; he should be fine on the boards if he's locked in, which seems to be the case right now.

Relying on his offense to carry the Spurs is a poor strategy; relying on his spacing to mess up the Heat's defense is a pretty sound one. If Miami starts giving Neal the Green treatment, it'll be hard for them to stop penetration or to double bigs.
