parker's quote make me nervous, "im trying to stay positive"...
Hopefully, the uncertainty around TP's injury messes w/ Miami's adjustments for Game 4.
parker's quote make me nervous, "im trying to stay positive"...
Parker said post game as well "I don't feel any pain"
So proceed freaking out
I took that as he didn't feel any pain while standing there giving his interview.
He also said, "I felt something weird. I don't know (what it was)."
David Stassen @davidstassen2h
Little known fact: Meryl Streep sits courtside at every San Antonio Spurs game.
Really? Can anyone confirm this?
No ? Wow thanks!!!
Idiot.
He has not yet, he doesn't have it anymore! HE IS DONE! He is bad now, he can't drive anymore and just shoots stupid threes most of the time!
Yeah those passes to splitter and others that set up buckets along with the dunks he made were total signs of a player that's over the hill.
Obscure stat watch:
In the Spurs' 25 NBA Finals games to date, only 6 players have ever had a 24+ point game. Duncan has done it 10 times; Parker and Ginobili have each done it 4 times; David Robinson did it in Game 3 of the 1999 Finals; and tonight, in Game 3 of the 2013 Finals, Gary Neal and Danny Green joined the club.
(and, yeah, I realize it's a weird cutoff, but Neal's game made me wonder how many Spurs had even gotten to 24 in any single game).
Also, until Game 3 of the 2013 Finals, the Spurs had reached the 100 point mark in exactly 1 Finals game ever (Game 2 of the 2007 Finals -- 103-92). Easily the largest Finals point total for the Spurs.
Manu might be missing from deep, but he's been the best passer for us next to Parker. Regarding TP, this is the finals. If Curry played on one leg in the WCSF, Parker will and should. We're two ing wins away from the LOB.
Don't worry. He's not Manu
My sources have spoken and I am sorry to say that Tony Parker has a cracked skull.
As great as Tony is even at his best he isn't gonna win the series for us. He isn't being allowed to penetrate the paint and his absence forced us to shoot from the outside this game and our role players stepped up big time. Provided you still consider Danny Green a second tier player... Even if he's healthy he's not gonna see many opportunities to get to the rim uncontested. We're gonna have to shoot lights out to win this series.
Well, if he's ok, he wasn't that reassuring for us fans in his post-game interview. The last time he had an MRI, he quickly blew it off and just said it was precautionary and that he would be fine. Now, he's saying he's "uncertain" if he'll play on Thursday.
Tony will play in GM4 according to an official source he's fine
Not necessarily. We shot 48.9% tonight. That isn't exactly LIGHTS OUT, but it's decent. It all starts on the defensive end, though.

We're gonna have to shoot damn near lights out to win this series if Tony can't pay at least 85%. Unless Manu comes alive because he's the only other Spur that can drive to the rim off the dribble.
Buck Harvey dropping knowledge.
Spurs medical staff believes it was a cramp. More than fine for Thursday.
Calmate...

Thank you Good Lord!
