We can beat the Heat with or without Parker. I would like to have him but there is something special about this team and I know we are taking the le. Gino and Neal could run the point and we would win the game. We are outclassing the Heat right now.

If Parker doesn't play expect McGrady to run the point behind Joseph

Mild strain would be horrible news. Im hoping for a cramp
me too but once again a cramp is easy to recognize by an athlete. Parker said it was weird so I don't know what the it is but don't think its simple cramp.

Game 3 was fantastic but it is over. We uh sort of need our best player to win 2 more games. Even he is a semi-decoy and just dishing like last night. No Parker-- no way we win this series. let's hope for some good medical news.

Hamstrings are weird in the way they affect the player as anyone who has had a hamstring pull can attest. You feel a 'pull' or constraction with every stride. For a player who depends on speed and fluidity, a hamstring injury could be completely disabling. Evem if he tries to play, he may not be very effective at what he does and would run the risk of further injury if he tries to do his usual playing style.

Frankly we are in a jam if Parker has a hamstring injury.

    he wasnt that influential
he made some good passes but its a difficult matchup for him vs miami
this series is all about tim nd splitter on the inside and the 3 pts shooters
so even if he is injured its not a huge loss

    Also his eye fell out.

    And he died.

    Questionable for Thursday.

And it will be legit because the heat were that good. no lame injury excuses.

But if the heat lose its because, dammit, wade was hurt all series and it really wasn't fair.

this is a total cia pop move

'oh my hamstring, i'm hurt, i'm hurt, i have no explosion, miami you should stick with the shooters and stop trapping me on the pick-and-roll, i'm no threat'

then bam he scores 20 in the first half

this is a joke right ---- how do you think the 3pt shooters get the looks? even if Jalen Rose is wrong and TP isn't the 3rd best player in the league-- he certainly is top 7.
we have neutralized Lebron --they neutralized parker last two games. If no lebron -- no heat. If no parker-- they take away 3's and we are in trouble. Plus-- did he not win g1 in the 4th -- he's tres needed

The only way the Spurs can win a game in this series without Parker is if they get another fluky shooting performance like last night. Joseph plays good enough defense to offset Parker's contribution on that end, but it would take the Spurs' shooters going supernova again to make Parker's offensive brilliance unnecessary.

So, what's the best way to get an update for TP's injury for those of us outside of SA? I've been watching Twitter and Spurstalk all morning.

People who think Spurs will be fine without Parker are crazy. Teams are very evenly matched only because Wade is injured and Lebron is playing poorly/scared/whatever. Without TP, they wouldn't win another game. Game 3 is over, folks. File it away under great memories. Game 4, (especially) Lebron and the Heat are coming out with a vengeance. It's Lebron's legacy on the line - after listening to the media crucify him in the next 48 hours, he'll be out for blood. I expect a MIA win in game 4.

He went back in the game last night, that was a good sign. I think Parker will have the huevos to go out there and give it all he has, even if it means further injuring himself. It's the FINALS!
