For 3pt shooting reason, I think
Discuss. I'm perplexed by it as Diaw played very well in the previous series.
For 3pt shooting reason, I think
I think it's Bonner's hustle believe it or not. He's a more active rebounder, seems to understand the defensive scheme more, and is less prone to making mistakes on offense (because he's not dribbling the ball like Diaw.)
Also Bonner is one of Pop's favorites. He's been with the Spurs much longer, and Diaw is just....fat.
Bonner got two open 3s and took them
was pretty shock by that too, if green and neal keep shooting like that we don't need to play bonner, diaw got better passing skills, can create better opportunities and can defend better than ginger.
Bonner draws the defenders away from Duncan and others. Worked like a charm. Diaw on the other hand, his guy sags.
Pop didn't overly play Bonner though, as soon as he bricked the second shot he wasn't in there much longer.
Bonner outhustled Blair for a rebound too!![]()
I like Bonner. He's funny to watch on defense.
Heard something about his back being sore.
This. Diaw will just pass the ball, open or not.
Diaw didn't play in G3's garbage time too.
I guess he has a minor injury.
He has an injury, I don't remember what
Somebody fell on his back aggravating his recent injury maybe.
Diaw played more minutes than Bonner in games 1 and 2.
Depending on the player it can be a sign of disrespect if you only play them in garbage minutes.
Because pop loves bonner, always has and always will. No matter how many times his man scores on him the minute he enters the game, he will still play. Even if our entire team consisted of hall of famers, bonner would still get minutes.
Recurring boo-boo with his back.
Diaw is recovering from a back operation.
He is not 100% and I believe he is in pain, he is limping after every 5 minutes he plays.
How about a lazy game 2 from Diaw and overpassing?
