Splitter is soft and horrible overrated by GNSFs imho. I'd rather have a 05' Nestrovic rather than the skinny from Brazil, at least Nestrovic was a hardcore rebounder and a strong presence in the paint
That aint guarding D Wade either. Splitter's best asset is his defense, he can't use that in this series really because he'll be on a perimeter guy and then he can't punish smaller defenders like David West could. He's great against big teams, awful against small ones. He needs to work with someone on posting up small players tbh.
Duncan is absolutely better than Hibbert, but Splitter is no David West on the offensive end.
Diaw's game is actually closer to West's. He played pretty well in limited minutes
This is EXACTLY what I said. But GNSF and homers like DPG were incredibly adamant that Splitter could do just as good as Hibbert did. The Heat couldn't go small against Indy, which hurt them and made the series go 7. They can go small against SA though, because Splitter is much easier to game plan a small lineup for.
