    I don't get why people act as if this is the same team! The Spurs are old as fuk! Do you think we would be worried if tim and manu were in their prime? Of course not.

    Um, the OP never said anything about that game 5 having to be in the Finals. Game 5 against Phoenix in 2007 was epic, with the Suns crowd in a frenzy over the Stoudemire/Diaw suspensions, and Bowen hitting the game-winning 3 from the corner (in front of the Suns bench iirc) was epic itself.

    I'm not sure I would call any game 5 in 2003 epic because all of the game 5s were overshadowed by other games within the series. Maybe game 5 against the Lakers where Horry's game-winning 3 hit every part of the inside of the rim before rattling out could be considered epic, though it was more like that an epic collapse was barely avoided.
