Totally agree. However rather than leave it up to the eyes of the official, Tiago should learn to get the ball high over his head quickly, then he wouldn't get stripped so often.
I think the Wade analogy is pretty solid. I could definitely see us getting one more "Classic Manu" game out of him this postseason.

bet manu is still better than anyone in this thread lol
saw that....heat got away with the bs calls...like bosh hitting the ball out of bounds and refs still gave the ball back to the heat....little things like that also helped the heat...bunch of bs...I hope the spurs put another beat down on Miami....
you can hope anytime.. thats not reality though.. game over my friend.. Spurs has been exposed
Manu was doing a lot of little things like rebounding, distributing the ball, and racking up assists prior to the Finals. Though he wasn't shooting well, he was still contributing positively.
Now, he's still shooting like and he also is not assisting and rebounding like he once was. Of course, you can blame Miami's amazing pick-and-roll defense for some of it, but the bottom line is that he just isn't producing.
We better hope he comes around in game five, but I won't hold my breath.
manu doesn't have to score a lot of points for the spurs to win.....spurs have Kl and players like danny green to make up for that.....manu just needs a couple of threes and his passing ...
''He's having a tough playoffs, and hasn't really found a rhythm or found his game yet,'' Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said Friday. ''I think that he's obviously not as confident as usual, and he knows full well he hasn't performed the way he would like and the way he's used to. But it's simplistic to say, 'What are we going to do to get him going?'''
Q. I wanted to ask you about Manu and just kind of get your assessment on what you've been able to do to slow him down. He struggled a lot in the playoffs, long before you guys were facing him in the playoffs. What are you seeing out of him as a player? Does it still feel like he's the guy that at some point he's going to pop and be the player he has been for so many years?
COACH ERIK SPOELSTRA: I don't know if we're doing anything. In Game 3 he made every trigger pass for them that embarrassed us. And he was in the middle of all those plays that either led to points in the paint or three‑point shooting. Even though the statline may not be what everybody wanted, he had a tremendous impact. And sometimes it's just make or miss, to be quite frank.
One game and then this? Retire.
