welcome to spurstalk where meltdown happens.
What the is wrong with you guys. You go from worshiping this team after the WCF sweep of the Grizzlies and now you're all talking about blowing up the team after this series. You act like we've been humiliated the entire Finals and ignore the fact that WE'RE TIED 2-2!!!
WTF is wrong with you guys! This team is in the middle of one of the most epic playoffs runs in franchise history and all you guys seem to find time to do after a loss is call a Spurs veteran like Manu a "pussy." Shut the up and enjoy the run and show some damn respect.
Instead of bashing every player on the team that doesn't play like Michael Jordan, how about you all really behind them. Let's show the Miami cHeat why the best team in the league (the Spurs) has the best fans in the league.
GO SPURS GO![]()
welcome to spurstalk where meltdown happens.
when manu is cold he shouldn't play. period. the issue is that it seems like these days he is always cold, and when he is cold he seems to get anywhere from 2-3x as many minutes as when he is hot.
gary neal is a similar basketcase.
tim duncan hasn't even boarded his flight back home to SA yet, so i'm waiting for him to show up, i hope he is still enjoying the beaches of miami or whatever he is doing, because he is certainly not playing tim duncan basketball
kawhi leonard refuses to play selfish bball probably because he is still afraid of popovich, but he should be averaging 20 points a game and at least 5 rebounds
no, the Spurs do not have the best fans in the NBA. OKC does. I wish the Spurs fan were like OKC, Golden State, or the Mavericks. I was watching Game 4 and the Spurs fans sounded so lazy to cheer. Spurs fans only cheer the last two minutes of the game.
I think Spurs fans are the most spoiled fans in the NBA. Heck even Lakers fans make more noise than Spurs fans, and that's saying a lot from a team that has 16 championships. Spurs fans are spoiled and lame. They don't appreciate our Spurs team like OKC appreciates their Thunder.
Overall I do agree with the OP. People on these forums sound so defeated. Lets just all wait until Sunday. I have not been relaxed these two days and I can't. I just want Sunday night to be over with. If the Spurs win Game 5 then I will be the happiest man in the world for two straight days and I'll be able to relax for a bit.
Spurs HAVE TO WIN Game 5. It's win or go home.
Win 1 in Miami, Win 2 in San Antonio, Win 1 more in Miami.
It's all going according to plan. Sunday's gonna be interesting, eh?![]()

Obvious hypocrite is obvios...
So what if some of us are negative and I'll include myself. I mean it's not like one of the Spurs players or Pop is going to check out this website and read some of our comments. Yeah I'm scared that they're going to be influenced by our pessimistic at ude.
So you guys act like we are up 3-1 and be happy and think we got this.
No, I know we have a of an opponent and I know we're going to have to have 2 more great games to pull this off, but I have faith that if any team could do it (especially in this kind of a situation with aging stars), it's our San Antonio Spurs. We have more experience than these guys and we have one of the best coaches in NBA history on our side.
Let's not wave the white flag. Show a little less pessimism for a change!
.........
I'v seen worst bi-polar people here than the psyche wards.
It's strange, but based on my observation it seems that Local San Antonio Spurs fans seem more worried that out of town Spurs fan. Maybe it's because you guys are in Spurs Media Central and you hear every little thing. I can say that California Spurs fans feel fairly confident in the team's abilities. My San Diego crew that I chill with just finally had our streak of 7 wins for the playoffs broken but when the team plays D like that and gives the MIA extra possessions, you get what you deserve.
It's 2-2 and Spurs can be up 3-2 by tomorrow...AWESOME! Believe peeps. It's like Charles Barkley says, I may be wrong...but I doubt it.
OKC fans are better because they have a decade or more to look ahead with their current team. This spurs team is unpredicatable when it will all end, thus fans are going all in for the final hurrah.
Another poor thread. It's game 5 of the finals, eve of the biggest game in the last 6 years. Manu has played terrible, Tony says his hamstring may tear, the Heat coming off of an outstanding game from their big 3. It's nerves dip . Everyone on this site pulls for the Spurs. Just nervous as shot if they can do it...
I've pretty much run out of things to say, so again... ing THIS.![]()
................
we lost a game to the heat !
dont you see?!
Considering there have been two blowouts, and these teams tend to blow each other out in wins, there is no telling what is going to happen but I do believe it's safe to say, game 5 is a must win for SA.
Those are your typical "BANDWAGON FANS". You should simply ignore them.
yup sons...
