Microsoft has reportedly been sending in Microsoft employees into Nintendo’s Best Buy E3 experience events, which have been set up in Best Buys across the country to allow consumers to play some of the new Nintendo games that have been announced at E3 this year,..
Numerous reports (along with some damning photos) have come out from those claiming to have withnessed these so called “ambushes” by Microsoft employees themselves. The Microsofties were reportedly asking customers why they were bothering with the Nintendo Wii U when the XBox One was “right around the corner”.
Any further details on how much that fee would be on "reactivating" used games? Because that sounds like the bite in the ass that's going to keep on biting them. The 360 did so well in the US that I think their initial sales for the new console will look alright thanks to enough built up brand loyalty. I just don't see how any gamer who is going to wait a year or two for a price drop is going to pick an Xbox One over a PS4 when half the reason the reason for waiting is that by the time you buy in there's a decent catalogue of games that can be had for cheap.
what a mess. i think MS has eclipsed sony in 2006 for arrogance and taking their customers for granted. This console actually had promise if it weren't for the always online and other bull it comes with. its like they tried to make it as consumer unfriendly as possible. i do think the unlimited sharing of your library with up to 10 "family members" has promise though. Apparently you can share your games as much as you want with people in your "family". Which could basically be up to 10 of your friends I suppose. im sticking to my pc tbh.
Ive never owned a PS console because those controllers are made for children and anybody over 6 feet or with big hands is going to find them uncomfortable. those x-one controllers on the other hand look comfy as and ill probably pick one up for my pc. i think i read an article somewhere that sales for the controller are outpacing the sales of the system and MS might increase the price of the controller to compensate.
Looks like a piece of . $500 for a glorified Netflix + TV Tuner box.
Exactly the same s predicted that Steam was bound to fail, we saw how that turned out.
The Xbone is so much more innovative/future proof than the PS1.4 I don't see how it won't do well and gain momentum over time.
It's embarrassing for the PS1.4 that the Media center has better launch les.
2 months ago s around the world spammed that they wanted a CONSOLE and ed about the TV stuff of the press conf, now it has better launch le than the PS1.4 and it's already non issue.
Looks like a LaserDisc blocking a VCR.
Wait, you're going to buy that piece of ? CROFL look I can watch TV like I have for 25 years on my VCR and Netflix like I can already do with my Blu-Ray.
Awesome television experience
Ballmer ting the bed without Bill

Sony
Hasn't made a good console since the PS2
PSP Go, Vita, PS3
Downward spiral
Samsung is what Sony was supposed to become 10 years ago, how could they mess up so much![]()
CROFL, you two are idiots. What's underrated about not being able to play without connecting to the Internet? What's underrated about not being able to play used games? Is paying $499 for all that hassle underrated?
iOS, Android, Steam do allow to sell used games, non issue... It will only make the games cheaper.
you are one re ed fanboy
Fact is whoever is the CEO of Sony can't lol at Ballmer, Sony has been going downhill for more than a decade.
For MSFT to swing customers back to Sony talks about the lack of killer instinct and gross stupidity of Steve Ballmer.
Fact of the matter is, only Google seems to be the one having direction. Sony is still downhill, Microsoft is spineless without Gates, and Apple died with Jobs.
LOL Sony too.
I don't understand how you can say something you never used is good/bad.
I never used heroin either, but I'm pretty sure it's bad tbh.
I heard it's good
This baam guy has to be a troll. I dont like to think of people at this level of idiocy.
it's good to sell tbh

In addition to all the other controversiessurrounding the Xbox One, we’re now hearing grumblings from independent developers who are unhappy that Microsoft is telling them that they need to have a publisher to sell their games on the Xbox One marketplace. Eurogamer last week talked with Lorne Lanning, the head ofindependent game developerOddworld Inhabitants, who said that Microsoft’s new restrictions on independent studios mean that his company won’t release any new games for the Xbox One or the Xbox 360.
http://www.cnet.com.au/us-navy-publi...7.htm?feed=rssIndependent US-based military magazine Navy Times has published a new report blasting the Xbox One and its various policies that the publication describes as problematic for those on active duty.
The Xbox One will require users to connect to the internet once every 24 hours, something that Navy Lt Scott Metcalf believes will be a "showstopper" for those serving downrange, in the field or at sea.
A past report claimed that Microsoft was working on a solution for those in internet-free scenarios, though the company now says no such plan is in place.
In addition, the Xbox One will be supported in only 21 countries. Those stationed in major military regions like Germany, Italy or Great Britain will not have a problem. However, service members in Japan, Kuwait, Afghanistan or other areas are in a bind.
On top of this, since Xbox One games are region locked, service members who import games won't be able to play them on their local machines. And, as Navy Times pointed out, those who buy games locally will be out of luck, as Xbox Live accounts are tied to regions.
The publication also called out potential "serious" security concerns for the Xbox One, involving the system's Kinect camera and/or microphone recording conversations not meant to be heard outside of the military. Microsoft has said that the Xbox One does not record idle living room chatter.
"Microsoft has single-handedly alienated the entire military," naval aviator Jay Johnson wrote in a Gamasutra piece. "And not just the US military — the militaries of the entire world."
Johnson added that the Xbox One's internet requirement is "the single greatest sin Microsoft has committed against all service members".
raises a good point
Nice to see someone failing harder than the Spurs.
it really does this
