For those who want to look ahead, this probably means that the Game 6 crew is:

    Joey Crawford
    Ken Mauer
either James Capers or Marc Davis (at this point, Davis is my hunch)

And, most likely, the Game 7 crew is:

    Scott Foster
    Danny Crawford
    Mike Callahan

if we're gonna win it, it must be the next two. i don't trust any crew IN Miami G7 especially with that crew.

I think the best thing for the Spurs is to just forget about officials and forget about whistles -- just play.

i agree. play with a lead like G3 and never let up. don't let it come down to the refs.

that's hard to do when you're getting eaten alive in the paint and no call, chippies called on the other end. you can't touch anyone, they're hacking you across the face right in front of the refs -- no call.

whistles flying everywhere and you know you're getting hosed.

tim stops playing sometimes. it gets in your head.

Ed Malloy is a terrible ref. He is that tall looking motherfu*ker that looks like Steve Novak. Ed Malloy was the one that officiated Game 2 along Joey Crawford. For that game, Ed Malloy was the one making all the bad calls and blowing the whistles. Damn it I wish that the ref crew would of been the exact same ones from Game 1. Oh well. I like Tony Brothers. I believe that the Spurs are undefeated this year when Tony Brothers officiates their games.

Completely random and useless fact; When I was 8, I thought "Tony Brothers" were two brothers with the last name 'Tony'. I never understood why the NBA ALWAYS made the ref the same game together, Just because they're brothers doesn't mean they can't be separated here and then.

Tony Brothers is terrible, tbh... not even saying it's a bias thing, he's simply inept.

Agreed, as well, but considering the other options he may not be so bad. Plus we won game 1 with this crew, so this crew knows we can beat Miami (and we will tonight)!

Not Ed Malloy. Ed Malloy officiated Game 2 alongside Joey Crawford. He was BAD.

Damn Let's just hope it's not a close game and the Spurs have a comfortable lead where the refs whistles won't make the difference.

I'm fine with those crews, as long as it isn't the crew from game 4, they were atrocious. The refs in game 3 weren't that bad, though they weren't good either. If Joey Crawford is going to ref a Spurs game in the Finals, I'd want it to be on the road, that guy likes pissing off home crowds.

I've always liked Ken Mauer, honestly. Joey's also been pretty neutral for the Spurs since the Duncan incident, and he doesn't let the crowd influence his decisions which usually gives the road team an advantage.

I think each coach in the finals should be allowed to select 7 officials. One for each game, for each coach. Then those 2 select a 3rd and 4th from the group. That would stop alot of the ing about the officiating.
