Soccer is lame for a myriad of reasons, but it's wholly unspectacular because anybody can play it. It's the only sport where little people can play. Nothing exciting about watching the runt of the litter kick a ball around for 90 minutes

In fact, it's exactly the opposite. 1) Most people can't play it because they can't run enough. 2) You can take a soccer player and have him throw a football, shoot a basketball..and look competent. Hand-eye coordination is something everyone develops. You try and take a very good football player/basketball player and tell him to do a simple act of just dribbling a ball and they most of the time look like clumsy idiots.

Wait, did you actually say that? Ever wonder why America doesn't have their own guy playing at the highest level in Europe? I'm expecting you to say because America doesn't care for the sport right? What about the MLS.. why can't one of your kind transcend his talents to Europe and be as big as Messi? I know you're trolling but you gave me the perfect excuse to say something that I've wanting to say for some time.
Soccer is like Basketball in the sense that you actually have to be skillful to play the game, It's not like football where you can have no skill whatsoever and still play the game if you have a good enough physical preperation/did enough ped's and sometimes not even that, you can be a succesful offensive lineman by just being a fat , tbh.
Yes, i concede that you have to be in shape to run around in circles for 90 minutes.Every sport has rampant PED use and to suggest otherwise is just willful ignorance. Also, god-given physical ability and skill/freaks of nature like Lebronn James and Calvin Johnson are why we pay the price of admission. If i wanted to watch ordinary people do it then itd be akin to watching the wnba or xfl
