wow...
I'm curious to know what it would take to get Griffin from the Clippers.
Gary Neal
Matt Bonner
DeJuan Blair
Rights to a Player over seas
Money
Draft picks
What do you think?
Getting Blake would mean taking on his max contract... no thanks... We'll leave that stupid to the Lakers.
For real? You're thinking about this kind of sh!t right now?
The Clippers seem to want to trade for a coach. Several posters here would sign-and-trade Splitter + Pop for Griffin.
(Splitter included for salary-matching purposes)
Yet I'm still gray. This is unbelievable.
Blake Griffin doesn't seem to fit the Spurs system to me.
First of all, he's undersized. Yes, 6'9" is not great height for a power forward in the West trying to guard Zach Randolph, Pao Gasol and LaMarcus Aldridge.
Second, he's not a great low post player. He does have a few moves and some skill, but his shooters touch is not great. He's more of a high jumping athlete who gets a lot of points via transition than someone who gains them from ball movement and half court sets.
Third, he's EXPENSIVE.
Fourth, he's not an FA so he'd actually cost something in terms of personnel to acquire. The Clippers aren't stupid - they're not going to accept a combination of Splitter, Bonner, Blair and/or Neal.
Just MHO.
Griffin may possibly be an even more over hyped piece of than Dwight Howard.
Agree +1
Shows you the power of commercials on America's yout's (my cousin vinny reference)
and anyway who the wears racing gloves while driving a KIA?
Why would the Spurs sign a glorified Baynes for the max?
We can't, it's that simple tbh.
thinking about a trade that well never happen when the Spurs are 1 win away from the championship
really? another neal bonner blair trade scenario?i thought we've been over this.
plus 2 of the 3 are free agents and based on free agency its not even a sure thing bonner will be back
the 2 youts
two hwhat??

...which one does not belong?
Griffin is a poor mans shawn kemp. he has no post game whatsoever. just athleticism. hes gonna becomes like vince carter when his hops wears off, except with less talent than V.C.
