he's pretty much like tim duncan. let's his other teammates take the spotlight when they're on and just does the dirty stuffs.
Yup. But that is Kawhi. He's understated and quiet (Kawhi-it??). But he's had an unreal finals. His rebounding, his FG% in several games, his workman-like defense/activity...Just hard to imagine that he is 21 years old. Stud + on a big stage = super stud.
Not really. Green has been a massive story and getting tons of props. Manu tonight as well. TP/Duncan early on. Kawhi gets a few nods during the broadcast but nothing from the media overall.
He's tied for 3rd in MVP so far IMO.

Kawhi has been so good that his play has come to be expected. Green has shocked us all and is somewhat carrying us

If Lebron gets below 20 on Tuesday and if Kawhi gets a double-double in a win...he has a legit argument to be Finals MVP.

He is a living testimony to his late father. He will be one of the coolest millionaire ballplayers ever, much like Tim in humility! Kawhi was big tonight....as usual.
Maybe Kawhi gets one "cheat day" a year where he can smile and have fun.

Kawhi is one of my favorite players and has been steady as she goes the whole season but he hasn't been MVP good.
Kawhi learned his lesson the hard way last year. After going up 2-0 in the WCF, someone quoted him saying "6" to Danny or Gary, as in, 6 more to go for the le. And wouldn't you know it, they never won again. He was not trash talking by any means, but he learned to not look ahead at all. Just stay focused on the next game.

Actually, you got that the other way around. Gary Neal said that and Kawhi corrected him and told him "no, we got one game coming up next" or something to that effect. The article that mentioned that was trying to highlight how mature beyond his years Kawhi was and still is to this day.
