Are they on TV???? I love the original movie, i thought it captured the bleakness and darkness and wild nature of the planet well, the re-make is aiiight, but good, and more detailed....and I haven't read or seen Children of Dune yet. How was that one?

nope i got them all on dvd.

the original is the best, although the new one ain't half bad either. the new one has better acting for sure.

I'll give 7 out of 10 stars to the Children of Dune the book and 6 out of 10 to children of Dune the movie.

the Dune books kinda go downhill after Children of Dune. they get pretty bad. Althoguh god emporer is a cult fav. of mine. It;s bad but i love it.

Read the Dune books written by his son Brian. It;s like Frank had a dream but only his son could adequetly <sp?> fullfill it.
