Big three time to score 75.
MIAMI –*Enough is enough!
After allowing him*to set a Finals record with 25 3-pointers*(in just five games and on just 38 attempts), the Miami Heat are not going to let*Danny Green*have his way with them any more.“He has a knack for shooting, but he won’t be open tonight,”*Chris Bosh*said after the Heat’s shootaround at AmericanAirlines Arena on Tuesday. “We’ll see how he shoots it when somebody’s always on him.”
Bosh said that the Heat don’t have to make any adjustments to defend Green better in Game 6 (9 p.m. ET, ABC).“It’s just doing what we do,” Bosh said. “Last game, we didn’t do what we normally do. Guys were open and made shots.“They move the ball too well to have defensive lapses. So we’re going to have to trust what we do.”.................

If they are going to turn their focus on Green, they will lose.
"doing what we do"
"what we do"
aka, "I'm a stupid parroting generically stupid " iow, he is what he is
They're going to defend him like they did in Game 4. They won't let him get good looks. Someone else is going to have to step up. The Big 3 all need to have big games tonight. Seriously.
Green hasn't always been wide open on his 3's anyways.
I think Parker alluded to the fact that they were "still leaving him open" just so Miami would key in on him the next game and allow Parker to have a huge game and win Finals MVP tbh.
Bosh also goes on to say that if punched in the mouth (metaphorically) they'd respond by punching back in the mouth, groin, throat and eyes.
Bosh - new tough guy!
Miami kept a hand in Green's face during Game 4, tbh. I didn't think it worked out too well. I realize Heat won that game - But TP Was slicing them apart in the first half. And had the Big 3 not played the worst second half of their finals career (So bad to the point where Heat's defensive scheme was actually effective), Spurs could have damn well won that game. Miami can easily guard Green, but it's up to the Big 3 to make them pay.
I hope Duncan s all over Boh tonight

San Antonio Spurs shooter Danny Green already has 25 made 3-pointers through the first five games of the NBA Finals. It broke Miami Heat guard Ray Allen's record of 22 he set with the Boston Celtics in their 2008 championship run. Green has been open on a lot of his looks throughout the season, due to either great execution or terrible defense or sometimes both.
When Heat big man Chris Bosh was asked during the shootaround before Game 6 on how Danny Green was consistently able to find the open shots he's been taking, Bosh had a very matter-of-fact response. He says Green won't be open in Game 6 when the Heat try to extend their season with a victory.Ok, that opens things up for Tim, Tony, and Manu in the lane! Even easier!
Oops, sorry for the dupe!
neal and manu to the rescue!
The Spurs would never give the Heat this kind of BB material. Guess what Bosh, Green will be open tonight. And if he's not Tim, Tony, and Manu have the lane to themselves.
i'm guessing they will challenge kawhi to make his shots, they are far better off leaving leonard open than green.
Bosh talks too damn much. He's been doing it all series. Just shut the up and play the game.
They also may stay back on Manu and force him to hit jumpers, which isn't a bad strategy these days (even with last game).
Thanks Bosh for the information
Time for Tony and Manu to attack the paint
Same thing that happened in the Memphis series: Green, Kawhi etc shoot a ton of 3s in game 2 and they stayed home on the shooters the rest of the series to allow Tony to have the best series of his career
Good, great news - plenty of points in the paint for everyone else then.
Splitter better start practicing his dunks.
The spurs typically run action for green off the ball that is designed to get him looks. It's not necessarily Miami choosing him or Kawhi. Look at Ray Allen. Obviously the spurs prefer somebody else shooting, but the offense forces a certain guy to get a look. They'd have to switch on an off-ball screen to really prevent it, and that would create massive matchup issues/confusion since they'd be completely changing defensive philosophy on the fly
I think the last one was "ass," no?
Yeah this isn't just BB material, the stupid bas is telling us their game plan. Any information you give you opponent s you. I love the end where Pop says he's said nothing about anything. Almost like he knows what he's doing.
true, good point. they may try to pressure the ballhandler less and allow for more parker isos. i'm just guessing here .
Maybe.Ask Chris...
