He's done this so many times but it warrants saying it again. Manu Ginobili should be nicknamed "The Difference". That's not taken is it ? The man is a true warrior and compe ive as . You could tell he was tired in the 4th but he kept fighting.

How cool is it to be the most hated man in Denver, Phoenix and now Utah ?
He gets welcomed with boos which I am sure he wears as a badge.

I'm not sure how he only ended up with 6 rebounds tonight. It seemed as though he skied above the Jazz for everyone of them. He didn't get the easy ones that just bounced off the rim.

He scratched and clawed his way to the basket and took hit after hit. I'm not sure but I think he made DFish cry again.

    Anyhoo, 1 to go.

P.S. I thought the late Technicals were lame but I'll take em.

Methinks the refs just wanted to make an statement with all the whining. Refs can see who is playing good and who's not. They are supposed to control the game and they just did that the only possible way when things started getting a little sloppy. I think call-wise it was 50-50.

Manu is the ultimate compe or and Pop said he's never been around a guy quite like Manu in terms of being a compe or. Interesting from someone who has won tons of stuff and has been coaching great players.

Spurs were really lucky to draft him...i bet a lot of teams would travel back in time to draft him earlier

Lucky to draft him in the second round ? No. Lucky he turned out to be better than they thought ? Absolutely. We had the fore sight to draft him and he has turned out to be the real deal.

Mahimi, Scola, Chris Carawell, the Euro guy with the shark tattoo, Beno....they haven't all been winners. Ian Mahimi is a very young project who may eventually blossom.

I think the game changed as soon as Manu started being as physical with them as they were with us. He was hacked all night but then started throwing some elbows to clear space. They did not react to it well. They didn't like it. Props to Manu for out smarting the comp.

He's more Warrior than any player on Golden States roster. That was funny though.

    shark dude = javtokas

i want javtokas and scola here next season.....if they dont work out we can always trade them since MLE will be split between the 2....easier to offload

Manu has an extra "desire" gear that puts him in an elite class. Wasn't there a study done on "compe iveness" a few years back. I think it showed that some athletes actually have a gene or you can see changes in their biology when things get tough and it comes to winning.

It featured Michael Jordan and Joe Montana. They tested kids also. Whatever it is, Manu has it.

Court-vision and decision making are things that should only improve with age. Tbh you can't blame this abysmal performance on age especially since he's healthy as ever right now.

What's with bumping old threads? Dude's been a warrior and now has aged. one game/series/season isn't going to erase a 20 year pro career...

Sure it will... He's a HOF, and will have his jersey hanging from the rafters in San Antonio... he's been that important for the Spurs, no matter what Stabula in Spurstalk thinks...

His turnovers weren't aged-related. It was a complete mental meltdown/chokejob. If anything, a 20-year pro should have the ability to recognize and self-correct. Instead, he went for the hero act even when he must have known better.

Without Ginobili's 3 in G1 and G3, Warriors are playing the Finals against Heat.

Wouldn't be fair to the team. Everyone's just going have to get over themselves as they watch Miami cut down the nets. Pound the rock!
