    1. Why didn't the Spurs call the timeout after Wade's miss with 11 seconds left in the overtime? They had one 20-seconds time out left which they used after Allen's free throws.

    2. 1,9 seconds left in OT, final posession... Why the was Tiago "the Puss" Splitter in the game? If it were a 2-point game, I'd understand, because he'd have a chance for a putback or something, but in a 3-point game? What the was Pop thinking (well, that's actually a general question for a whole game)...
You put in your best shooters, not a 7 footer. I understand that Tim was in (what I don't is why wasn't he in last seconds of regular time, sigh) because of his experience, but Tiago? Manu, who couldn't buy a shot? Diaw? Heck, I'd rather go with Tony and Neal...

    Discuss.

1.Because all series long the Spurs have been alot more successful when they push the ball instead of letting the Heatles set up their defense. Just the previous possession Pop called a timeout to bring Tony in and we ended up with a poor shot were Bosh blocked Tony. It wasnt really a bad call on Pops part imo, if anything you might criticize why Parker wasnt out there pushing the ball to begin with instead of Manu...but then again he couldve been a liability defensively because of his size as well. Alot of variables to take into account before just saying he shouldve taken a timeout tbh.

2.Because hes arguably the best screen setter on the team, shooters dont typically get open on last second shots on their own. And Neal was out there for that last possession if Im not mistaken.

Parker was out for defensive play to prevent him getting on Lebron on a pick'n'roll switch. Plus, 11 seconds is a pretty decent time to make up something useful or to create an open shot for somebody, imo.

Nope, the lineup was: Tim, Diaw, Manu, Danny, Tiago.

Sadly, things like that don't happen every night...

Ok, I just rewatched that part. It was Manu, Tim, Tiago, Green, and Neal.

IMO, the game plan was this. Timmy was supposed to inbound as he was the tallest and could see the floor.
As timmy was inbounding, they needed a "safety" option to go to if the guards could not get free, and safety options are always the tallest guy and its Tiago, as his man most likely would not run with him pass the 3 point line.
The remaining 3 Green, Manu and Neal, were our best 3 point shooters, and Manu has proven time and again that no matter how cold he was, he can make the last second shot when it matters.

i have one question, why the does ginobli keep turning the damn ball over?
Because he runs full sprint trying to catch up to the ball, when he is on the verge of completely losing it, he jumps with the ball, then tries to figure out what to do...most of the time he has no options so he just rifles the ball somewhere and prays it works out.

no you call a ing timeout because you take your chances on Tony Parker (even with a set Heat defense) not Manu Ginobili handling the ball and getting an open look.

Yes, sorry, mea culpa, I saw Diaw instead of Neal

But still, how could Tiago, while playing as a puss, be a safety insurance if guards don't make it?

Because Pop keeps putting him on the court late in the game.
