dude, don't be so weak....have someone hold you or sumtin durin the game..
Yes
No
lol if you don't watch a Game 7 in the finals, you literally can't call yourself a fan of either team

If you don't, you are just like these fans: http://nba.si.com/2013/06/19/heat-fa...irlines-arena/
I'll watch...but I don't know for how long. When they get ready for the opening tip off, if Manu is on the court, I'm going to smash my flatscreen with a hammer.
I say no this morning but you know I will be watching it when the time comes.
Wouldn't miss it for the world.

THIS IS OUR ING LEGACY, SPURS LOSS GAME 6 and SO DID 2 AND 4, REMEMBER THIS IS A ODD YEAR SO THE LUCK IS WITH US. OUR STAT WINNING FINAL IS 100%.
After being stabbed in the heart last night, I'm just not sure i can take it. I may record it and check the score, maybe not even that....then look at the box score in the morning.
I'm not getting into the 'who is a bigger fan..' debate, because it's stupid and subjective. I just don't get why someone would NOT watch the game. This is the only reason that seasons are played, for the chance to win a championship. Every single game up to this point has been about getting here. So, watch it to enjoy it. If you're just going to check the score on your phone, then you're just interested in seeing numbers -- not basketball.
How much excitement is there seeing that a number on one side of the screen is higher than the other side of the screen if you didn't watch it happen? If you just want to see numbers go up and down, play the stock market.
Obviously not.
For multiple reasons.
1) NBA games live are borderline unwatchable, with so many useless interruptions.
2) It will 3 AM and I will be busy in the morning. Work >>>>>>>>> any basketball game (not played by MY kids).
3) It's most lilely going to be really ugly.
I can watch it the next day. At least the first quarter.
If the Spurs are going to lose, I'd rather have that news delivered to me over the course of 3 seconds than 3 hours.
Plus, I wouldn't be able to stand the sight of those thousands of Miami fans cheering on TV.
I'll be watching and yelling at the TV
haha, thanks man. First time I smiled in 24 hours.
Ok, but what if the Spurs win? Is it better to find out over the course of three hours or three seconds? Just read the sports page, then. Do you like the sport or the scores? I just don't get it. I'm not decrying your fandom, or whatever. I just don't see the point in even "following" a team if you're not going to experience the games, regardless of outcome.
i know the spurs are going to have a 2 or 3 possession lead in the 2nd half, i just know it, hope they can maintain it when the game slows down and the heat make a push
i gotta watch
i will watch the game, but probably tune out once the presentations start. the pain will be unbearable even for the most dedicated spurs fans
Game 7 is different, an exception to the rule.
I watched Games 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 on TV, but for this last game - and particularly after last night's terrible defeat - I just don't have the guts to watch three more hours of basketball with each hope potentially waiting to be dashed. I'd rather have the news delivered quickly.
Again, I wouldn't be like this with most Spurs games. Just games of this type.
Yep, will be up watching live from 2am-5am, and then on to work at 7.30am. It could either be a great or very long, depressing day.
I really don't get people who don't watch pivotal games like this. You've invested all the time and effort following the Spurs since October, and now you're going to give up at the climax of the season, and avoid one of the most historic games in Spurs history? Why? This is what it's all about. In several years time we might not even be making the playoffs, let alone the finals, so let's enjoy it while we can. Win or lose, it's been an awesome season, and has totally over-delivered on what we expected. As somebody said in another thread, we're playing with house money right now.
Even if you can't bring yourself to get your hopes up, just watch it anyway. If you expect nothing, then you can't be disappointed.
Glad I helped!
No but seriously, since I'm from overseas, I don't watch all the games so I check the results first thing in the morning. Those 2-3 seconds when I wait for Nba app to open up, it feels like eternity and I'm damn nervous in the meantimeAnd it's usually not even playoffs!
is this a joke?
of course. Game 7 of the Finals with spurs playing for all the marbles. Duncan riding into the sunset. His end of career will be either like the end of Star Wars, or like the end of that Bruce Lee movie where gets executed at the end by the shooting squad![]()
few ppl have testicular for ude around these parts pardner
