Are they worst than the usual GNSFs ? worst than previous waves ? or pretty much the same ?
I say they are worst, this year vintage is pretty much horrible.
This has been the worst wave in quite some time IMO.
It was expected since the Spurs have made a deep run, but the ra ra bull from NASFs/Greys and even some BNSFs has been tiresome.
You can still cheer for the Spurs in a Game 7 and be optimistic without being laughably re ed tbh.
What is that? New-age spurs fans? Never again spurs fans?
You have an issue with Non Anglo Saxon Females? RACIST!
You guys care way too much about name color and les.
Because its there. For as long as there's a distinction, there will always be that separation between the "elites" and the rest.
It's like robdiaz x 30... make it stop, tbh...
Non-Aryan Spurs Fans? GET OUT OF HERE HITLER!
Not even close to the old crop of GNSF that wanted George Hill to be the future of the franchise.
Truth!
And one would assume that fans of the Spurs wouldn't highlight distinctions considering the team is a like mini United Nations! We have a sociology experiment going on that would make Stanford proud!!
Or the ones that thought DeJuan Blair would be an all-star.
Its different but they're pretty bad. Honestly there's always been about 90%+ of the posters here who sucked. At least the mavfans have died away (along with their playoff chances).
Its not the same around here as it was in its heyday but it hasn't been that way for years as it is. I read these forums for the posts from old school fans. To be honest, I just skip over most posts and pretty much all GNSF posts.
Considering I was NASF last year (joined early April) I'm going to go out on a limb and say this year is definitely worse
NASF - Not a safe fart. You know the feeling
The only distinction I make between posters is their post quality, and color of name has been no indicator of it at all. If anyone feels "elite" because of the font color on their internet forum names, that's extremely sad for them yet laughable for everyone else imo.
I'm guessing NASF = Newly Arrived Spurs Fan.
How exactly does someone become a bold-name Spurs fan anyway? Do you have to get to 10,000 posts?
He looked like he had a real chance after his rookie year. He was a monster on the boards. Turns out, that was the year he peaked, whether it was the ACLs or something else.
I wouldn't have shouted "DeJuan Blair is the future of the Spurs franchise!" or anything, but his potential seemed pretty real to me at the time.
I hate those NOMBNSF
Yup pretty horrible.
most of them cannot realize how great this run has been.
