"Yard sale" wisdom
Great. Not everyone uses music as a drug, so get over it.

Again . . . no credibility.
Bon Jovi
When were you elected the judge?
The really great bands had a ton of great albums and hit records. Take away London Calling and where are The Clash? Seriously think about that.
Can you compare Wu Tang to the hip hop artists of today please?
When were you?
that even explains the song for him!
Ok it's like this....
Punk, rap and hip hop are beneath me. Silly ass music that you out grow. I'm into music that stays with you, music performed by talented artists.
Ok it's like this....
Recycled boring blues rock is beneath me. It's all been done before and better. It's uninspired and easy. It's limited in lyrical content, chord progression and scale. It takes me nowhere I haven't been before. I outgrew that a long time ago. I want to hear something unique, innovative . . . something that moves my soul.
I don't care what some yahoo on yahoo thinks. Where's the credibility? I provided credible sources.
I think we're all like that's why I also listen to a ton of current bands.
But.......we can all go there, , just turn on the radio. I sometimes like to go places most have never been. You've never set there nursing a beer, chilling with some candles and incense listening to....Alice Moore singing about going to prison, followered by Bukka White and another of his classic train songs, next up....Henry Spaulding (one record) singin' bout.....Cairo. It's very cool.
Of course this is also.
You're wrong.
So you punk/rap/hip hop is focusing in on that well adjusted successful 45 year old man with a family?
I think I can answer that question if you rephrased it so it made sense.
What does one have to do with the other?
It's weird that you can't even rap your head around a well adjusted, successful person with a family that also listens to punk and/or hip hop.
Ya walk into a kicker bar, chances are no Iggy Pop. You see a gang of young black dude chillin' with some sounds, chances are no Willie Nelson. This is no different.
Where do you live again?
What if I told you I knew hundreds of people who are in their forties, well adjusted, successful with a family who also listen to punk and hip hop . . . Is your mind, just like, totally blown by that information?
It's completely different, actually.
