Granted, they don't live in Turlock.
BULL !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Granted, they don't live in Turlock.
It's true.
ohmwrecker speaks the truth. I still listen.![]()
From a major publication that is slightly better known than digitaldreamdoor.com:
TOP 20 WORST BANDS OF ALL TIME
2. Eagles
The all-mighty arbiter of SoCal cool, Jeffrey "The Dude" Lebowski was famously willing to be thrown out of a cab because he hated the ing Eagles, and you should be too. Soporific Laurel Canyon coke rock whose chief existential lament seems to be "What toppings should I get on my burrito?" the Eagles are the quintessential band for a decade whose favorite barbiturate was the Quaalude. -Jeff Weiss

Butthole Surfers still on my playlist.![]()
Were they on Avante's "great Texas artist's" list?

I have no idea what you're asking here.
If you're asking what audience rap is geared towards, I'd say its fairly universal, just like every other genre of music and depends on the listeners tastes....however, you've proven in this thread and many others that your pea brain can wrap itself around the fact that everyone views music differently....I for one think blues is boring as .
If you're asking if well adjusted adult males (and I know you're thinking white males in this instance because you're racist), like rap...well, I'm still a ways off from 45, but I have a family and I'm successful, so, yeah, we do enjoy it.
mine too
Ugh. People in Turlock have to go to Modesto for entertainment and culture. Modesto!
Only thing in Turlock that's worth a damn is my dad's pool.
It was kind of fun listening to the Butthole Surfers in the 80's but there were too many goddamn skinheads at their live shows.
i'm with the dude, tbh. they do absolutely nothing for me. at all. but i do like walsh.
The Eagles
paste
They are one of the world’s best-selling bands of all time, having sold over 150 million records[3]—100 million in the U.S. alone—including 42 million copies of Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975) and 32 million copies of Hotel California. They are the fifth-highest-selling music act and highest-selling American band in US history. No American band sold more records than the Eagles during the 1970s.
The Clash wouldn't make a pimple on their ass.
No link. Sorry, your paste doesn't count. LA Weekly FTW.
Let's be honest, what simply doesn't fit?
Bob Dylan
Pink Floyd
The Beatles
The Clash
Led Zeppelin
The Eagles
The Doors
The Rolling Stones
You don't fit, because you don't get it.
Ever.
No amount of almanac lists will change that.
Bump
Or this one?
