Win or lose these Spurs have made me proud. I've been disillusioned every year since 2007 but still believed they had a good chance every year.
THIS is the year.
Leave your best on the table so you will have no regrets!
Manu, the need for redemption must be inside a compe or like you. Don't overthink, just do it!
Tim, you must wonder if you can come up with another game 6 performance. Let the game come to you and trust in your team.
Tony, you've come so far and still have room to grow. Do your thing and we will win!
I had the Spurs in 7 when the series started, and I'll stick to it. I would have been fine with it ending Tuesday, but sometimes we cant get what we want. The Spurs are a damned good team. They have what it takes to pull this off.
I see what you did there
I've always felt game 7s are win on talent and mental for ude. Right now both favor Miami after that epic choke job.
Besides, maybe it's the overly-dramatized NFL Films brain-washing, but I don't think I've ever seen "and they used their failure to clinch a le with 5 seconds and up by three, as a springboard for an epic performance to clinch te championship." It usually works the opposite "After stunning their opponents by forcing OT, the team dominated en route to clinching a stunning le and writing their names in the annals of history as one of the greatest clutch teams of all time."
Sigh.
Agreed Miami is gonna come out strong playing on a emotional high and r at home .the spurs have to weather the storm and will be tested will a sizeable defecit at some point around 10 or more
Nervous as . This is it. One ing game! Go Spurs Go from hole North Dakota
Great Post as always! Exactly how I feel too.

ya know, i don't see game 6 as a tragedy. imo, a tragedy is if the officiating was so bad it broke our hearts and faith in the game. Game 6 was a self inflicted wound imo, we had a chance but imploded. I don't consider that a tragedy. So it's really about how we recover from it and be stronger.

Great post... been a Spurs fan since 91/92 after being introduced to basketball by the neighbors kids with a hoop out in the street. It's been a roller coaster over the last 20 years and lots of memorable times watching Spurs games. I really want this one because I know how hard it will be to get here again, but I've really enjoyed the journey.

Well said, thank you.
This is me. I'm way too emotionally invested in this team. My father and I have had a ten game season ticket package since 2006 (yeah, late to the game, but still) I take losses pretty tough. Game 6 was so bad I didn't turn on the TV until just now after the game was over. I didn't want to see any of the crap that was being said about My Spurs. I've been to nearly every playoff game since 2006, as well as the 10 games each year during the regular season.
I'll celebrate like a madman if they win, and I'll be devastated if they lose. But I'll still be a Spurs fan NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS!
I hope they
I hope they
To me, they will always be
GO SPURS GO!
It could be the last game of Manu for the Spurs, it could be his last game in the NBA. Hope not.
Game 6 was a heartbreaker but James and Allen did hit big shots. If spurs win tonight it will be huge. Go spurs.
Game seven is fandom and sports distilled to its essence, pure and simple. Winning and losing. Triumph and despair. Glory and shame.
This game may not be the biggest in Spurs history in terms of importance, but it's damn close. Damn close.
Give me 48 ing minutes of acious basketball.
Balls out all night long and they win.
Lets do this ing .
let's do this Spurs!!! 48 minutes of Spurs basketball.
Believe.
They are warming up... we can do it!
Manu is hitting his FTs and 0 turn overs and once more leads the team in +/-
Tim has shown up again and even hit 5/5 FTs!
Tony seems back to normal. Him missing more than usual is just down to good defense.
Go spurs go!
Pound that rock and don't stop.
This is supposed to be hard, it is the Finals!
