Shane Battier is just wired that way, just like Horry, just like Posey. It flows in their blood. Meanwhile, the Spurs are stuck with Tiago Splitter.
Please also put me down for hating Battier.
If we still had a token thug presence on the team (e.g., Bowen, Horry, Jackson) you know Battier would have received a very hard foul at some point in this series. See also Mario Chalmers, Ray Allen, Dwayne Wade.
