Which all-star player do Spurs have a shot to land?

maybe that crybaby Dwight Howard. His at ude sucks but his talent is undeniable. He likes small markets and if he is intrigued by the aspect of playing w/ James Harden how much more intriguing would it be to go to a team that was in the finals alongside Tim Duncan and Tony Parker, w/ up and come KL, and coached by Pop? TD could hang around just long enough to toughen up Dwight and show him the Spurs way., while collecting two more rings. Then Dwight can take over the Spurs big man spot. If what Dwight wants is a ring, to be a big part but not the only part then the Spurs would be the perfect fit. They did say we are one of the teams he is considering.

Free Agent wise, I like Josh Smith, and or Al jefferson, and Jarrett Jack. But that is about it.

Somebody write a letter to Al Jefferson and Jarret Jack to come play for the Spurs. We can use Manu's and Stephen Jackson's salary money and split in half for Al and Jack. Al would carry the load offensively in the interior while Duncan becomes the defensive specialist just like David Robinson did in his last years. Jack would replace Manu and be the perfect backup to Tony Parker.

everyone always talks about how they love and respect duncan, but not one of these ers wanna help this dude get a ring ever in his career. but theyll run around like litlle girls on cell phones trying to team up and make superfriends. dude is the best most unselfish teammate you could ever have and will let you have all the spotlight. its like hes the really nice guy and awesome person in school but he jsut doesnt have enough money and cool toys for other really cool kids to want to be friends with him.

He`s not, but he covers all that Spurs are needing. Backup PG, spark from bench, ballhandling, scoring from passanger seat. He`s decent defender.

Looking at the free agents available that can reasonably be gotten by the spurs will be Paul Millsap/David West/Jose Calderon... I personally like the Millsap/Calderon, because we can get them on the cheap will not totally destroying our cap flexibility to sign other players.
