Isn't Jack only good when he plays against Spurs?
And please, no Josh Smith.
I don't know about stars, but looking at the FA list quickly, I'm interested in the following players, without considering contracts/cap space, etc..
Paul Milsap
Jose Calderon
Gerald Henderson
Wayne Ellington
Mike Dunleavy
Al-Farouq Aminu
Martell Webster
I also wouldn't mind Pablo Prigioni and Ronnie Brewer as specialists that weren't guaranteed to play every night..

You have your opinions i have mine. I am a jack hater and thats why i do not want him on my team. thats all. All series long i felt that jack was our best defender against curry. Dribbles around all the time doing nth, den jacking up long 2s again and again. ugly basketball tbh. At least parker runs through screens while doing that.
There's also always the chance of players getting amnestied/bought out..
Paul Pierce is possible, although I doubt he goes to the Spurs..
Pau Gasol would be perfect, but he probably won't get amnestied..
World Peace could be intriguing, tbh..he has looked ty the past few years, but he would thrive in a bench role IMO, and he loves the Spurs..
There would be no iggy signing... leornard will breakout next season... we dont need iggy! we need a 6th man that can score and pass the ball and another big man. Big Al is more expensive than Millsap!
Lebron?
MWP off the bench would be great. Great defender, dirty player, abv avg 3 point shooter, better ballhandling and driving skills than green.
My wishlist would be Millsap/Calderon/Cassipi and resign Tiago for 7m!
No to Al Jefferson, he can't run the floor, and he's TERRIBLE defensively, I'd rather have West/Millsap. They can guard quick athletic PF's, SA's weakness. They'd be a much better fit. Replace Tiago with Baynes, who IMO has the potential to be even better than Splitter.
Give Kawhi the green light, allow him to bring the ball up court, take as many shots as he wants, create for others, this guy can give us 18 PPG easy.
Pursue a PG, SA is in desperate need of one especially since Manu is done. Jack will cost way too much so maybe someone else, they don't have to be a star, just a solid backup.
Sign a SF to backup Kawhi, maybe a guy like Gelable who SA showed interest in, or draft one.
Dont know about the SG position, there are quite a bit of holes on this team.
I also forgot JJ Re will be ok...
I'd love for Calderon to come here, would be very popular around here. DOes he have a lot left in the tank, I don't know I haven't watched much of him.
I think Red would be a great fit, Jefferson, Millsap. Not sure what the future is for Tiago or Manu.
Marco Bellineli/OJ Mayo/ Earl clark/JJ Hickson/
most probably no star. Wouldn't surprise me if we stay the same just without Blair. This FO just doesn't help Duncan.
I don't want Jefferson or Millsap, they're both bad ideas.
Millsap when I watchis already declining and too small to handle real bigs. He's not the rebounder he used to be either so good luck with that (even worse the Splitter), but he is a player who pouts when he doesn't get his touches or minutes in crunch time, something admitted by the Jazz radio pbp guy when discussing how tough a spot Corbin was in when trying to get Favors and Kanter meaningful minutes. Who would he guard against Miami? No one. Who could he guard against Memphis? No one.
Jefferson is too bad a defender and too poor a passer to play for the Spurs.
If Manu retires or takes off, Iguodala would be perfect. Too bad he wouldn't come off the bench and would cost too much.
Smith I doubt would come here. He has his faults but I would take him over the others.
Monta Ellis is opting out. Selfish, no defense bad shooter, but he could fill a third guard role. I'd rather have Re though.
No good options. Nothing that turns the tide.
Millsap is very intriguing. Thought we needed a bruiser because we couldn't rebound well this series.
Jarret Jack should replace Manu and back up Tony at PG. Al Jefferson or David West can replace Tiago.
Jax tried very hard and ended up... all by himself in a commercial flight to Miami
That`s what I am talking about. Still contender team, 4 HOF leading this team. No cancer could this up.
I get what he's saying. Dwight might not "like" small markets, but seeing how this LA thing turned out, I'm thinking he preferred Orlando more.
Dwight wasn't quite there for prime time media exposure. I truly don't think large markets are suited for him. He tried it, and it was a complete failure.
His game is kinda similar with Kawhi's and he will be paid over 10m.
If Gasol is amnistiated, bring him here. Or try a push for Howard.
Sign Jarret Jack so that he can replace Manu and be Parker's backup. Then sign Al Jefferson so that he can carry some of the load in the post. Duncan can anchor the defense in the paint just like David Robinson did in his final years. With Manu's contract out of the way, Stephen Jackson's contract out of the away, and if the Spurs amnesty Bonner, isn't that about $30 million right there? Split that $$$ for Al Jefferson and Jarret Jack. I'm not an expert on this stuff but would this scenario work?
OJ Mayo.
That guy is the Spurs type of player. Plays D, passes the ball, he can shoot 3's, and most importantly shoot off the dribble and slash. He had a at ude when he first entered the league, but I think it was a humbling experience last offseason when no one wanted him and he signed with the Mavs for peanuts. He proved he wants to do whatever it takes to win.
Him and Kawhi at SG and SF would be an awesome combo to have with Manu and TMAC being that combo off the bench.
