spurs should pounce for 1 run only, get PP + KG for splitter and bench scrubs+picks
goal is to win 1 more ring till duncans contract expire 2more seasons....i think its worth the gamble

Either someone didn't explain it to right or ignored reply. Team officials say NBA lawyers told #Celtics, #Clippers days ago it wouldn't fly

CROFL anybody wanting Splitter.
Hopefully the Doc part can at least get done today, that's the most important part imho....
And considering how much of a bag Ainge is during trade negotiations, it's about damn time someone gives him a taste of his own medicine, tbh....
Ainge is CLEARLY leaking all this about the Clippers being cheap to Woj in order to gain leverage, tbh..... at this point, I'd rather the Clippers just tell Ainge to go himself and hire Shaw instead, this is getting outrageous....
Is Shaw going to deliver them Garnett and Pierce though? I have my doubts.
So, what's the story with this ? Anybody has any cliff notes? I tuned almost everything else out with the Finals going...
The Cliffs Notes are
LOL Clippers
Ainge is probably asking for the moon at this point, hence the leaks and the threats to back out, but at this point, I'd just either give him what he wants and end this drama or hire Shaw.....

After talks failed again on Friday, Doc Rivers will no longer pursue the Clippers coaching job, league source tells Y!
Donald Sterling is a dumbass. Period.
I don't think this was just about the pick. There was just no other way to prove to the league that it wasn't a seperate deal.
I agree.... I don't think this mess is either team's fault actually, it's Stern's fault for vetoing the original deal based on an assumption..... anyway, I hope that's the end of this stupid-ass drama, tbh.....
Also, even despite Doc supposedly pulling out of this drama, Heisler's claiming that the deal is not dead, it's just that talks have broken off for the weekend, tbh.... frankly, I'm sick of all these sources reporting contradictory things....
Yeah. Clippers should just hire Shaw, but I guess Paul REALLY wants Doc.
Wow, this trade drama really isn't going to end after all...
After talks failed again on Friday, the Boston Celtics' Doc Rivers will no longer pursue the Los Angeles Clippers' coaching job, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Rivers will make a choice between returning to the Celtics for his 10th season as coach or leaving for television, sources told Yahoo! Sports.
"The deal is completely dead," a source directly involved in the talks said Friday.
The ramifications for the Clippers could be significant, because free agent All-Star guard Chris Paul had badly wanted Rivers as his coach and had pushed management to complete a deal with Boston, sources said.
The Clippers raised the idea of a future second-round draft pick with Boston on Friday, sources said, but Celtics general manager Danny Ainge had been clear throughout the discussions that it would take a first-round pick to free Rivers of the three years left on his Celtics deal.
